Nixie woke up to the bright bioluminescence from outside their window. Today he had to work, despite having a massive hangover. Nixie did odd jobs here and there, but mostly liked to play courier. It got him to meet a ton of new buns and dolls every shift, and some old regulars as well. They would often carry packages for the church of sulfur, and for the wonderland casino/the rabbit hole. Thankfully there hasn’t been a drink delivery service yet though.Â...

The Wonderland Casino. A den of drugs, drinking, and gambling. Many a bun has lost their life savings, plus some, to the games. The owner, Angora, was a figure most divine in the eyes of the buns of Burrowgatory. Many have never even had a chance to meet her, much less talk to her. It was springtime in Burrowgatory and the flowers were in full bloom, and there were every kind you could imagine. Nixie’s favorite has always been the sunflowers. They heard that above ground, they actually reach toward the sun, but they aren’t sure if that’s how it works down here. Nixie loved to walk through the flowers and smell all the fragrances. Their favorite spot to go to see and smell this was the park, with it’s large area for all the different types of flowers to grow....

Nixie walked into the Rabbit Hole. It was a busy night that night. Most of the spots at tables were taken up, as were the stools by the bar. Smoke hung thick and almost smothering, low in the bar. It was dingy, as it normally was. Nixie was good with all the company, but sometimes preferred to have a little one on one with some people hanging out. Today started out bad. First, it was an overcast day, then Nixie couldn’t get his hair right, which always puts him in a bad mood, then the water in the house wasn’t working right, and they were in a rush to get to the church. They still had to stop and get some breakfast. Nowhere better to do that than Dan’s Dango. By far the best food shop in Burrowgatory. The company there and the food always put Nixie in a better mood. Dan was still kinda put-offish, but was warming up to Nixie, and...

Now that everything with Mercy and the church of sulfur was squared away, it was time to go make it for the blooming of the hazeblooms. All three buns headed for the casino and bar. Nixie eyed Jackal, looking at her horns. They were unique to anything they had ever seen. Very pretty, but almost like a Freign’s antlers. Envy, Mercy had said, is what causes those horns. Nixie wondered if Jackal was envious of anything else, or if her envy had died down since getting help at the church....

Nixie woke up midday to a screaming headache. They had drank a little too much last night at the Rabbit Hole. Hops had a new drink out, the Glowjito. It had quickly become a favorite drink of theirs. It was fairly bright out today, and Nixie had to shield their eyes as they walked to the bathroom. There was only one true way to cure the hangover. Go drink more. Tonight was the night that Nixie needed to join Hutch for some imp training. They had promised Hutch that they would, as repayment for helping them out with an imp issue in the near past. It was a dark day out, with the bioluminescence in its natural lower state. Hutch had picked this time because it was possible to find a lunell. Snuggler Supreme had just finished a run at the Rabbit Hole, helping out Hops in a very busy night. Walking home, still in the skimpy maid outfit that is the uniform down at the Rabbit Hole, She noticed that the garden was getting a little out of control. It was watering day at Snuggler Supreme’s house. The hazeblooms have been coming in nicely, and it wasn’t too much longer until it would be time to harvest them. Snuggler Supreme woke up to a beautiful day out. Through her large, sectioned windows, she could see the patch of dirt in front of her place that would soon be the garden. It was a great day to garden. Although, on second thought, it was also a great day for napping. Snugs lay back down, but couldn’t stop thinking about the garden. It was the night of the big stakeout. Snuggler Supreme had slept most of the day, in anticipation of staying up late with Hops. Snugs rolled out of bed with a plop. It was a warm day in Hell. Snuggler Supreme gazed out of her large bedroom window at the weather outside. Days like today make Snugs want to sleep in. Any days make Snugs want to sleep in.
