However, when submerged in saltwater, they quickly fall asleep, waking only occasionally. Most thulu owners keep a saltwater tank to put their imps down for a nap when they need a break from their antics.

Devish are very peaceful and serene imps, as long as they're the only devish in the area. They get extremely aggressive and territorial towards other devish, performing dramatic displays with their fins to try to scare them away. Though removing them from water will not harm them, they're unable to walk on land.

Shelon are calm, hardy imps that live at a slow and easy pace. They're generally solitary by choice, but are not aggressive towards other imps that share their territory, making them good low-maintenance pets for those who already have other imps.

Jellsi are mysterious imps that don't seem to do much but float. The mesmerizing flow of their delicate tentacles and frills make them a popular tank pet. Though removing them from water will not harm them, they're unable to walk on land.
