[Gift] They’ve Got The Spirit

I can't believe it took me almost a month to come write a thank you for this, I'm so sorry.. You know how holidays were. And I won't settle for just writing two sentences ✌️

I have had to come back to this piece SO many times for the absolute hit of fucking serotonin it gives. Ever since you shared that little preview I knew you were cooking and I was so beyond excited. And I still am every time I come back to this, like I kick my feet a little, pan across the piece a bunch, soak in every detail.

The atmosphere in this piece is so gorgeous, first of all. I had to zoom into the background to admire how you managed to convey so much detail in the houses while still keeping them fairly simple and lineless. Like you really just made a whole complex background like that, what the fuck. You're just out here drawing whole ass houses like it's nobody's business because that's how powerful you are. I think the background is such an incredible addition to this. I'm always in awe at your ability to just create a genuine and lively scene like this because I know I struggle a lot personally to do the same, so I'm really admiring how effortless you make it look every time! I especially adore the snow in this, it really brings the winter feel together <3 Oh, snow, how pretty you are..

I fucking love that we expanded from the trio to Plus Remy now. Sorry, "Wemy"... . .. .... I just know he loves the fact that Leo is out here serenading him, but not so much that the other two tagged along. In his ideal world, it's just Leo... then the caroling would be so bad. (Even if Leo's singing terribly) Getting to see the four of them together like this is really sentimental, like every day we're watching our world expand more and more with the power of our three combined minds. I snorted (lovingly) at Remy's signature hair curl in view, it's truly not the same without his silly hair curl.

Leah's jacket design is incredible yo. Here you are with every piece coming up with absolute bangers for outfit designs!? I love both of Leo's outfits so much, but I love this top design especially because it's a nice little cross between mountains and lowkey channeling flames with the layering; truly a winter perfect design :3 But gosh, Leah's jacket is just so damn cute!? She looks so cozy... She's all bundled up nicely while the boys are just out here in the bare minimum coverage. No jackets we die from frostbite like men. Whoever dies first is a sore loser amiright.

The sheer size of their thighs. I can't stop looking disrespectfully idc they both have nice thighs with their own distinctiveness each. The fact that you can always convey that difference in body types, especially in their legs is so endlessly cool and a testimony to your artistic power. If we went back in time and someone asked me what kinda artist I wanna be when I grow up I'd say like you. Because your art is just that swaggy. Just. forget the logistics of if we went back in time you'd also be a kid again and.. it's fine.....Don't think about it too hard

Of course one of my top favorite things in this piece is their poses and expressions 💕 How could it not be? You literally highlighted how much you liked how Leo's widdle face was coming along, and as you should, because his expression is just so fucking cute to me <3 But so is Percy's ugh. I love that their faces are so close together and they're completely in this moment. Percy's arm is thrown back, and Leo's hand is posed; they're both clearly so invested. I can only wonder what exactly they're singing.. I hope it's Taylor Swift... Leo's accidentally putting a metal spin on it though. I'm sure it's fiiiine........... (it's not, it definitely sounds horrible)
I also love how you posed their tails in this; they both feel so dynamic and really add that pop of energy to this overall pose! I just love both of their energies so much in this, I can tell they're making the best of this situation and having the time of their life and I love that for them

And of course, their matching nails... My heart may never get over how cute it is that over time they are gradually having more and more elements in each others designs that represent one another. Like Leo never leaving the house without his scarf <3

I don't think I've mentioned this before (if I have, I'm just stupid ig dw about it), but I know for sure that I THINK it every time. I have no idea how in the world you make flatcolour pieces still look so complete!? When I do flats I always feel like there's something missing. A lot missing. But you? Naaauuuur. Your flatcolour pieces stand SO well, it's an honest to god talent what da hell.

Thank you as always for taking the time to draw the gang for us!! I'm STILL going to keep coming back to this piece to admire it endlessly because it does all of our beloved babs so much justice, and also it just means the absolute world that you would take the time to draw something for all of us; yes, including yourself <3 And as always, here's to another 70 years of drawing fools

BONEEEE IM CRYING I didn't see this until now but am absolutely losing my mind... This is so much fun, oh my gosh... The gang is all here!! I'm crying for real. You are so sweet to include not only Leah... But Remy!! Both my babies!! I love that he is the visitor they decided to approach.. On one hand he probably loves being serenaded by Leo.. On the other hand why does Percy and Leah also have to be singing at him!!

I love how annoyed-but-trying-not-to-let-it-show Leah is in this moment.. She's so embarrassed why can't Leo just stick to the proper carols she provided!! It's so silly I adore this so much. I love that she's holding the book all prepared and he just is off doing his own thing and having the time of his life with Percival.

This is all just so beautiful and so full of such good details.. I adore all the little stickers on Leah and the puffy winter coat you gave her, it's so perfect.. And the sweaters on Leo and Percival are so fun. I love that Percy's ears are tied under his chin in this piece too it's such a sweet look... And the background even!! You put so much into this piece, it's stunning. Everything about this is!!

Thank you so much for including my babies in this, you are so sweet to do so, it warms my heart and makes me so giddy every time I get to see them all together like this..
