MYO-756: Orryn

It was well past midnight and even though pretty much everyone at the church was asleep at this time, (choosing to sleep early in order to get up early and therefore finish chores early as well) one man was certainly still well awake, with a plan ready to be executed. Orryn stealthily made his way through the corridors, making sure the coast was clear and making sure that nobody’s sleep would be disrupted by his late night field trips. Orryn laughs freely, and happily. “Vice. You really are too much. You’re as humorous as ever. To think you’re some big bad mafia guy now, yet you can still have that childish side to you.” he says, leaning gently on the other’s arm. Vice himself smirks and raises the teacup to his lips to take a sip. “Oh please,” he says with amusement. “You are but an easily captivated audience.” He reaches over and takes the teapot to pour Orryn more tea when suddenly, the door burs...

Orryn and Gaius were having a very lovely fall day, a planned date going just right shortly after a week of dramatics where Gaius finally realized the impact he had when... well he'd accidentally ghosted Orryn. Today was quite the special day, specifically for Orryn. Gaius finally finally let him dress up pup. He said only for an hour before it came off but... it's been longer than an hour... much longer. Orryn snuck as many pictures as he could of pup with little ribbons in his ears, even managing to get one photo of Gaius holding pup while he had the ribbons in his ears. "Sit. Please." Gaius's harsh voice left him as he feeds the imp treats. Somehow some way though, the imp didn't listen, almost like Gaius was just rewarding it for existing. Which he was. After a long day of having to walk around the church, organizing things and getting others off their asses to clean up after patrons, Gaius was all too keen to sit at his desk and stay there for the rest of the night. He didn't want to move, if anyone needed him, he'd be right there.  The only issue was if he wanted to see anyone else... if he didn't move he couldn't get them, and there was a certain someone he really wanted to see in that moment. The door to Gaius’ room opens gently and Orryn slips in without a word, letting himself in without permission as usual. The two had grown so accustomed to being each other’s nightly visitors that none of them asked for permission before entry and honestly, they shared most things aside from rooms. Currently,  there was a very blurry line between what was Gaius’ and what was Orryn’s. Everything was pretty much shared between them.   ...

“Gaius be careful!! You might slip!” Orryn calls out half laughing, waving his arms at the other while in the safety of a shed. The other man comes running, clutching his hat as he makes his way to Orryn. He slips a little bit as he makes his way there, but Orryn catches him in his arms before he falls. “See, I told you!” he says, shaking his head slightly. They both laugh, straightening themselves up, Gaius removing his hat and setting it down on the small wooden table ...

This was the second night that they were going out for the festivities, the second night of drinks and rides and… generally being away from the safe confines of the church. Gaius was in a very unfamiliar environment, normally he didn't leave the church much, and if he did it was just to somewhere that was similar enough to the church for him to not mind it much. He definitely didn't expect for Orryn to agree to coming with him to the festival. Well, he did to an extent, the two had gotten much closer recently all things considered but it wasn't like this was normal for them.
