Fatima sighed as she lay awake in her bed, staring up at the ceiling, clutching her Oleander plush. She did manage to sleep for a few hours but something suddenly woke her up.

She wasn’t sure what it was but something felt a bit… off and trying to fall back asleep had become a chore, so there she lay, thoughts running rampant in her head.

Rolling onto her side, Fatima stared at her clock, her tail laying against the bed, a heavy sigh escaping her.

“They’re probably sleeping by now.” She said to herself, a frown spreading across her face as the thought of possibly calling Ilar and Mimic crossed her mind.

“I could go to church. I’m pretty sure I still have the supplies Ilar gave me to keep myself safe but, I don’t think that’s a very good idea either.” She says, another sigh escaping her as she slid off the bed.

“I guess I’ll go get a snack and find something to watch? I wonder if I have any good books to read.” Fatima wondered, making her way through the house.

As Fatima made her way towards the kitchen, something still felt off. The atmosphere in her home felt stifling and she was starting to worry.

Instead of heading towards the kitchen, Fatima made a beeline for her living room.

“Frank? Robin? Wisp?” She called, looking around for her Imps.

A loud rustle from behind made Fatima jump and quickly turn around, her eyes widening as they landed on a very tall and imposing figure just standing in front of her window.

The figure was in their doll form with large greed horns and bat wings, wearing a long red and black cape, adorned in a black suit with bronze buttons and black pants with brown shoes.

“My, my, what a quaint little house you have.” The figure complimented, looking around the house as he made his way over to Fatima.

“Who are you?! What are you doing in my house?! How did you get in here?! That window was closed!” Fatima yelled, stepping back before whoever this was got close to her.

“Ah yes, where are my manners? You may call me Lord Lagosi.” The man said, stopping for a moment and bowing.

“As for what I’m doing here, I wouldn’t worry about that too much. You’re not going to remember anyway.” Lagosi says, a sly grin spreading across his face as he looks down at Fatima with his red eyes.

Fatima gasped, bumping into her fireplace. When did he get so close?! As she gazed into Lagosi’s eyes, her mind began to grow foggy.

With her eyes closed, Fatima felt around for the fire poker and swung it at Lagosi’s head.

“Ah, you’re a feisty one, aren’t you?” Lagosi says, easily stopping the swing, his grip tight on the poker, recoiling when he felt a kick to his groin.

Fatima quickly ran away from him, bolting out the door. Or at least, she tried to, Lagosi had managed to quickly block it.

“Now, now, did you truly think I would let you get away that easily?” Lagosi mocked, laughing loudly as he stared down at the poor girl, his eyes seeming to glow.

Again Fatima’s mind began to grow foggy the longer she stared into Lagosi’s eyes, a startled scream breaking her concentration.

Frank, Fatima’s Plush Bearly, had managed to jump onto Lagosi’s face and was clawing at him with his little claws, growling as ferociously as he could manage.

Lagosi on the other hand, was unphased. “How cute.” He commented, picking the Plush Bearly up and tossing it aside.

Fatima gasped and caught Frank in her arms, throwing a nearby lamp at Lagosi’s face as she sprinted down the hallway.

“Thank you Frank, you were so brave. Promise me you’ll never do that again.” She said, hugging her Imp tight and darting into an empty room.

Frank looked up at Fatima with his button eyes and gently patted her face with his paws before pointing down at the ground.

“Come out, come out, wherever you are. I know you’re still here.” Lagosi says, casually making his way down the hall. “I can smell your fear.”

Fatima held her breath and looked around, where had she ended up? Her hazel colored eyes scanned the room, taking everything in.

Whoever this Lagosi person was, was obviously strong, no doubt about it. But whatever it is that he wanted from her, she wasn’t going to give him without putting up a fight.

Fatima was on high alert as she crawled towards her shrine to Murmur, picking up the heavy, bronze, demon statue that sat upon it, weighing her options.

Taking a deep breath, Fatima turned to her Plush Bearly and nodded, stepping out of the room and into the hallway, looking around.

“It’s too quiet…” She whispered, starting to make her way down the hall towards the kitchen.

“Ah, there you are. You kept me waiting.” Lagosi said, quickly grabbing Fatima from behind and turning her towards him; quickly grabbing her wrist as she tried to swing at him with the statue.

The Plush Bearly climbed onto Lagosi’s back and tried to slash at his face again, growling ferociously.

Lagosi sighed, removing the Imp from his face, only to be hit on the side of the head with the statue Fatima was still holding.

Fatima quickly sprinted down the hall and towards the kitchen, grabbing a knife from the holder.

“Enough. I tire of these games. You’ve been fighting me long enough.” Lagosi says, quickly grabbing Fatima’s wrist and squeezing it hard enough to make her drop the knife.

“Now, give in.” Lagosi commanded, gazing into Fatima’s eyes, holding her up by her waist with one arm, while his other gripped her chin.

Fatima struggled to try and pull her wrist away but the harder she tried, the tighter Lagosi’s grip got.

As he gazed at her, she tried her best to look away but the fact that he was holding her chin didn’t help.

From the corner of her eye, Fatima noticed Frank staring at her with a worried expression on his face, which started to disappear as her mind grew foggy quicker than it had before.

Seeing that Fatima was no longer resisting, he leaned in and bit her neck, his ears slightly twitching when he heard a soft moan escape her lips.

With that indication, Lagosi drank deeply, only stopping when he felt Fatima’s body go completely limp and her pulse stop.

“I must commend you for trying to fight me off as long as you did. You’ll make a fine hellspawn.” Lagosi complimented, holding Fatima’s lifeless body bridal style as he left the house.

Frank watched as the tall succubun took Fatima away, not really sure what to do. He tried really hard to protect her but it didn’t work very well.

Suddenly a thought crossed his mind and he quickly ran out of the open door and down the street.

Maybe her friends could help her! Now, he just had to remember where they lived.
