Lottie was considering calling this research for her next book. Key word was considering. She had very much wanted to set her next book in a place much like the heavenly embassy. A lush garden filled with beautiful flowers was such a lovely setting for romance to bloom. It would be the perfect place to set a love at first sight plot line.

Lottie continued to get lost in her thoughts as her gaze continued to look over the flowers and greenery of the embassy with out a word. It wasn't until she felt a gentle tap on her shoulder did she remember why she was here and frowned.

"You're supposed to be helping me with the planting," a voice said. It sounded slightly frustrated... possibly annoyed.

She looked over at the blonde bun, Primrose. He was looking down at her right now. In fact he didn't even look pleased with her at all which was rude. He was the one that said he needed help with the planting the new seeds in here. She was just kind enough to offer her help since it would benfit her.

How can he just look at her like that? Did he think just because he was one of those fancy buns from up above he was better than her? Was that it? He thought he could just boss her around and do all his grunt work?

"I know," she said and crossed her arms across her chest. She looked him right in the eye. Considering glaring at him but that would do nothing for her. It was better for her to get the task over with so she could continue to limit her interaction with him.

"Then get to work," Primrose said as he shoved the gardening tools to her chest not even bothering to wait for her to hold her hands out.

Lottie was just barely able to grab the tools and what also seemed to be a random bag of seeds before they fell to the ground.

"HEY!" she yelled, "That's rude you could have just handed it over to me!"

He rolled his eyes as he took a few steps away from her. She watched him casually pull out a handkerchief from his pocket wiping his hands as if he had touched something dirty.

Lottie opened her mouth to ask him what he was doing and then came to the realization he was wiping his hands cause he had to touch her! How could he be so outwardly rude towards her.

Every single one of his actions was so obviously rude and off putting how could anyone like this guy. Thinks he's better than her. He had to other wise why would he act like this.

She closed her mouth in order to stop herself from looking like she was gawking and huffed.

"Where do I plant this stuff," she asked.

She was the one who was better than him and she would prove it by not insulting him and calling him an asshole. She would practice that kindness junk this guy and his cherub friends were always preaching.

Not that she wasn't already kind. She was the nicest girl in the universe. In fact he was lucky she was doing this out of the kindness out of her heart. Even though this was definitely so she could get more writing ideas and to have an excuse to be in this beautiful scenery.

Then again this kind of labor was beneath her just like touching her was beneath Primrose.

Again she was once again caught lost in her thoughts and Primrose snapped his fingers in front of her. Rudely she might add. What was with this man and being like this.

"Hey pay attention," he said, "I am not going to repeat this so listen to my instructions very carefully."

Lottie blinked once. Then twice.

"No." she said simply.

"No?" he looked confused.

"Yeah no. Not until you apologize to me for being rude," she said, "How am I supposed to be willing to help if you keep being rude to me."

He was silent for a moment before speaking again. "I will not stoop so low as to apologize to someone like you."

"Someone like me?" Lottie sounded offended. As if she didn't know this was what he was thinking.

She guessed it. Look how he upturned his face when he looked at her. How can a pretty face like that look at her like that?

"Thought you were supposed to be all virtuous but instead you're acting the opposite of that," Lottie said.

She sighed dramatically putting her hand on her cheek while holding the tools she had orginally been given in her other hand.

"How am I supposed to learn anything from you or even want to help you because you're being so rude and mean to me," she said.

She glanced over at him. He looked like he was thinking about it. Even if it was just a little bit. She was having a bit of trouble reading past his smug expression.

"It seems you do have a point," he said waving his hand in the air, "This time. I will conceed you are right so I will appologize this time."

Lottie waited. She wanted to see if she was going to get an actual apology from his mouth but after a minute or two of silence she figured she wasn't going to get it.

"Great! So show me where to plant," she said. She would get a proper apology some day. Maybe not to day but a win was a win.

He waved his hand and lead her to an empty flowerbed.

"Go ahead and start planting here," he said, "It will be your responsibility to take care of these plants."

He continued to go on about the plants he had given her as she got down on her knees and started planting. Primrose really did talk a lot. She could hear him starting to go on and on about virtue and whatever.

It was good background noise while she planted. At least she would be able to come back and see the plants grow and flourish. What a wonderful plot to a book. Taking care of plants and all the while you've been meeting the love of your life.
