Cyrus gives flowers to Yue

“Yue, I’m home,” Cyrus calls, kicking his shoes off. He hides something behind his back as he does so. He didn’t hear any responses, so he knew that either Yue was in the tea shop, or was sleeping in bed. Though, judging by Yue’s shoes that he’d worn that day being by the front door, he could guess that his boyfriend was sleeping away his tiredness from working hard. Cyrus smiles to himself, already picturing the cozied up bun in blankets in their shared bed. With a bit of excitement, he walks towards their bedroom. 

“Yue,” He says softly, not wanting to abruptly awaken the sleeping bun. In response, he hears a sleepy noise escape from their bedroom. Cyrus keeps the hidden item behind his back, peeking into the bedroom. There his boyfriend was, rubbing his eyes and yawning. But when Yue sees that his boyfriend is home, he immediately lights up and gets out of bed, out of the big pile of blankets that were surrounding him. “Sleepy?” Cyrus asks, and Yue just hums in response, heading to give him a hug. Cyrus gives Yue a one-armed hug, using the other hand to show what he had gotten for his boyfriend. 

“I got you something for Matentines.” He grins, showing a beautiful and large bouquet of flowers. It was a wonder how he was able to hide that behind him up until that moment. Yue’s eyes widen, and so does his smile. He gasps, grabbing the flowers and giving them a sniff. 

“You got them for me?” He asks, and Cyrus chuckles. 

“Who else would I give them to?” He grins, and Yue giggles. 

“That is true.. Thank you, my love,” He hugs Cyrus tight, and gives him a kiss. He looks at the flowers in the bouquet, and spots the pair’s favorite type, a rose. The rose was Cyrus’ favorite flower, but it very quickly became Yue’s favorite as well. It was the classic symbol for love, but it also meant a lot for the two of them, showing their devoted love for each other in its petals. The second flower that was in this bouquet caused Yue to smile brighter. This bun’s most favorite flower in the entire world– an orchid, was in this bouquet as well. Yue was fascinated by its beauty, and it also just happened to symbolize “love, beauty, and strength”. The two of them worked hard daily, each with their own passion, but still, they were rather strong for getting through their busiest days. And even when the two buns would have arguments or misunderstandings, they still made sure to stay strong and stick together. Growing their love for each other even more.

The third and final flower in the mix of the bouquet was a sunflower, which the two of them also loved. A sunflower, meaning adoration, loyalty, and longevity, was another wonderful way to show Yue how Cyrus adored and cherished him. Yue couldn’t help but stare at the flowers with beaming delight, not able to look away for a long while. Until Cyrus spoke up, “We should probably put those in a vase, so you can still look at them and not worry about them dying.” 

Yue agreed, nodding along and walking over to the kitchen. He sets the flowers in a vase, sleepily making sure everything looked good and trimmed, and to his delight there wasn’t any dead leaves or petals to trim off. Now he could stare at this lovely bouquet for the next few days, and give Cyrus a hug and kiss every time. 

Yue turned to his loving boyfriend and squeezed him in an excited hug again. “I love you I love you I love you!” He repeats, and Cyrus picks him up into his arms. 

“I love you I love you I love you,” He responds back, smiling down at Yue. He walks his boyfriend over to the couch, the two of them cuddling up on it and turning on the TV. But neither of them were paying attention to it, instead they were looking into each others eyes and smiling with so much love. The subtle warmth of Cyrus’ hellfire touches Yue’s face, the light shining on the two of them. Cyrus takes a moment before he chuckles a bit. “You know.. With it being Matentines and all-” 

Yue hardly lets him finish, now blushing and exclaiming, “Yes yes yes yes~!”
