You sacrificed your sleep schedule to the Honkshoo just to feed the brain worms… WELL GUESS WHAT. Now that I’m awake I’M GETTING FED TOO. The lighting on this is freakin stunning, I will never get over how brilliantly your use of highly saturated colors is. Despite being so vibrant it never reads as eye strain and really brings something magical to the scene. I’m also so so obsessed with how the flames across his forearms anchor the whole piece because it’s the only spot of warm reds and yellows in the piece. I get sucked right in to the composition of their embrace. My eyes go from fire to hand on the crystal tears to Cass’ eyes gazing up at him under the big lashes and then follow up to meet Grant’s gaze in return. The softness of his expression alone is killing me but ALSO the flush in his cheeks but ALSO the mustache accenting the curve of his smile AND AND AND AND…. The title truly encompasses where I’m at this long into staring at the piece and scrutinizing the details. Just. Uguguuguuguuguguug about these two and especially the way you draw them. I’m freakin bawling over the “hey jewel” in the corner where the font makes it feel like he’s whispering it to Cass and they have no choice but to smile and lean into him.

Also just want to point out how much I love the way you draw Cassidy’s mouth… their lips look so damn cute with the toofers peaking out… and the way you dapple the freckles across the cheeks… how are you so good at drawing my character, it makes me want to draw them better myself.
