Danny, Dan, or Daniel is a big guy with an even bigger heart; he's a creative, quiet artisan who has a burning passion for making little things. He's considerate soul, always waiting for permission and always waiting for his turn to speak. Danny finds joy in creating things; it makes him even happier when he's able to share his creations.

 

Danny has always been good with his hands, delicate, and kind to whatever material belongings or whoever he's taking care of.

He gained the seeds of this mentality growing up under the oppressive parenting of a demon named "Cavar." Cavar was a demon of material possession and hoards and was insulted every time a speck of food was eaten without his permission or an object was looked at without his consent. Though he doesn't talk about it often, his time with the demon really hindered his ability to enjoy himself (uncommon for a succubun), which is something he's taking time growing out of in Burrowgatory.  Daniel grew up on the outskirts of Hell, close to Burrowgatory, on a 'farm', a rural place where he and his'siblings' worked day and night even as young buns. This is why he has a work-ethic which may have him do everything alone, since he took care of his weaker friends on the farm.

 

In secret, Danny would craft sparkly little treasures of his own from Cavar's hoard, honing his skills. Eventually he and his friends ran away from Cavar and escaped into Burrowgatory, where Daniel quickly found his place as a jeweler at one of the many shops in Wonderland Casino.

One day, a doe named "Sapphire" came into the shop and asked for his expertise, offering creative freedom and a workspace that could fit a bun like him.

 

Daniel respects and looks up to Sapphire; finding her determination to start her own business is awe-inspiring to him since it took him so long to finally take what he wanted. He also met his friends working at "Sapphire's Brilliance Bijoux," coming out of his shell bit by bit and exploring his creative interests. Sapphire designs the jewelry; Danny creates it, but whenever he wishes to create a design to sell on the shelves, he's always allowed. It brings him joy to see other people wearing his work.

✎Design FUNFACTS

At first, I was going to design Danny with bright red fur and splotches of white with the Glassy trait, but it just didn't turn out how I wanted it to. It looked too.. Gimmicky and silly, not the vibes I wanted for my sweet big boy. "Big guy holding small things" is great and another reason I slotted him with the jeweler trade.

He was going to have multicolor marbles in his Glassy trait; I thought it would be cute, but it just wouldn't have translated well to his doll form. He's another one of my OCs getting bunnified!

I like how Danny looks like he could be a blacksmith bun until you look closer at the tools in his apron. And his pants are fun; he's basically wearing  inverse assless chaps. I wanted to lean into his story of him basically being a farm boy! Which are vibes I sprinkled lightly into the whole of his design.

• Danny has a bad temper, which is a surprise to most people. He gets mad; he gets hot and fiery when he gets pissed. He truly doesn't enjoy this part of himself and he's ashamed of it. He's also always too hard of himself whenever he expresses his emotions too boldly or confidently.
• Danny has three lucky marbles he has in a pouch in his apron pocket.
• Daniel will let anyone he vaguely trusts do anything to him. Crawl on him, hold his hand, poke him, hug him. He's cool with it.
• Danny is sometimes too gentle.
• Danny prefers to show his emtions by actions, not words. He's however a great listener.
