On the surface levels, Amour is a well-mannered and collected bun despite his delinquent appearance outside of work. He portrays himself as selfless and considerate, with his warm disposition conveying a cordial personality to those around him. Strangers and some of his patients, in particular, are amazed by his humble nature and pragmatic approach when conversing with Amour, regardless of the discussed topic.
However, he is as arrogant and confident as any other pride bun with a superiority complex. Amour is adamant in his ways as he holds everyone, including himself, to high standards and refuses to consider another bun's opinion if he views them as irrelevant. Many buns, especially his friends and lovers, see him as a workaholic due to his active roles as a clinical director and psychiatrist to provide the best service he can offer to his patients and employees. But at his core, Amour does keep others' best interests in mind and is more than willing to soften his ego for those who soothed his scarred heart.

Personality
Design Notes
Amour isn't the most expressive bun, but he still shows facial expressions on a more subtle side. That said, as a self-assured pride bun he doesn't let many things catch him off-guard so it's rare for him to show anything more than a small frown if something or someone irked him.
He has four glowing flames by default, but he can be portrayed to have more with the four original flames remaining in their fixed positions. His eyepatch is optional on either form, but if he's shown without it please make sure to take note of his glowing iris and heart-shaped pupil when drawing/describing. Like his lop ears, his hair also has a pale red ombre on the ends on both bun and doll forms. The tattoos on his arms and abdomen are mandatory, with the thick vein-like tattoos starting on the side deltoid down to his wrists for his doll form.

- Despite being an affluent doctor, Amour rarely spends money on himself and has difficulty distinguishing what is considered cheap or expensive.
- The intensity of his glowing flames and eye reflects his strong emotions; the more intense the feeling, the brighter it glows.
- Doesn't like to talk about his tattoos and will only mention that he made a stupid decision to get them when he was at his lowest point in life.
- While he's still a workaholic, Amour has learned how to balance his work and personal life thanks to his partners.
Relationships
"I thought I was content with my life before meeting him, but I was proven wrong. Everything about him is beautiful and now I can't imagine living without him."
Honey was the first bun that cracked Amour’s cold heart with his bright personality and beautiful smile. With the two often overworked from their jobs, Amour sees him as someone he could relate to and spend time with when the opportunity presents itself. But over time, he fell in love with the blond bun and they eventually decided to date. Without Honey, Amour would’ve missed out on living his life by continuing to work day and night.
"He's kind, intelligent, and as pure as he looks. I didn't expect his natural charm to pull me in, but I'm glad to have him as my dear friend and lover."
Oleander’s knowledge of poisonous flora had caught Amour’s interest when he stopped by his flower shop by chance. But while he was intrigued by the sloth bun’s expertise, he became interested in getting to know the florist himself as well. What started as a simple friendship turned into a blossoming relationship between the two buns; with Amour wanting to give him his love and support while showering Oleander with gifts regularly.
"I didn't expect to find such a sweet soul beneath his alluring gaze, but it was a pleasant surprise as we have gotten to know each other. Though I wish he wouldn't get into trouble for others' sakes."
Seung is an attractive exotic dancer who captivated Amour with his seductive lap dance and charming smile. Though Amour didn’t find the strip club experience excitable, he became a regular for Seung especially to support and spend his carats on him. Once they’ve built trust and confidence with one another, Seung accepts Amour’s offer to go out on a date and they become lovers since then.
"Just as talented as Honey himself when it comes to makeup and the likes. I'm sure he and Roca will do just fine in life, even if Honey and I can't always be there for them."
Amour was surprised by the news that there were a pair of buns who are making a name for themselves in the beauty and healthcare industry respectively - only to find out that the two are Amour’s twin offsprings. While he knows little about Lindt due to his quiet nature, he wishes nothing but success in his career as an aspiring makeup artist.
"...Roca is a strong bun, and I want nothing more than to see him succeed in life like Lindt. It'll be a long road ahead, but we'll support him no matter what."
Roca’s steadfast commitment to becoming a doctor has caused Amour to feel conflicted for personal reasons, though he never voiced his concerns to anyone. Rather than meddling with Roca’s life or suggesting that he should choose a different profession, he’ll silently support him instead and even offer to take him as an apprentice at his clinic - if he decides to work in the mental health field.
"Though I wish Kiran would grow up a little, I still consider them a good friend of mine. When they don't bring up old memories that should be forgotten by now."
Kiran is one of the few buns Amour kept in touch with from childhood. Though his time with the lust bun is rare nowadays, he enjoys their company and catching up with major events or something worth sharing.
"Camilla's requests can be...troublesome at times. She's a smart bun when it comes to business, but sometimes I wonder if she'll remember that I'm a doctor and not a researcher."
Camilla proved herself as a reliable friend who could get him to loosen up and show him how to live a little. While he had never been a customer at her brothel, Amour would make the time to stop by whenever she requested to help with her projects or hang out for a while.
"Never had a bad experience or any problems with him. Though it's a shame that our work prevented us from meeting more often."
While he can't pinpoint the day he met Sakurai, Amour enjoys the rare days when the two meet by chance and share a small talk. In a way, he sees Sakurai as his confidant to an extent and holds great respect for him. However, he wishes that the envy bun would trust him and his ability to protect himself should a hypothetical threat come his way for any reason.
"I can't promise that I'll undo the damage Gremory has done to her, I'll lend an ear and provide the best care when she's ready."
Though not technically a patient at his clinic, Amour would lend a hand to Susie when he has the time to visit her at her secluded home. Being one of the many neglected envy buns that Gremory deeply scarred, he showed genuine sympathy and kindness to her as he worked on helping her deal with the trauma not just as a doctor but as a person she could call a friend as well.

History
In his kit days, Amour was friendly, thoughtful, and proud of being one of the most academically gifted buns of the bunch. He was particularly fond of receiving praise and recognition from his caretaker, Murmur, and fellow peers - so he became a hard worker to meet everyone's high expectations. Though he wore his heart on his sleeve, Amour was surprisingly aggressive when provoked or confrontated. But some time later, Murmur taught him how to manage his temper and emotions to avoid losing others' respect. Despite his efforts to be liked and relied on, his youth didn't provide him with any clear path for his future, and it wasn't until he moved to Burrowgatory as a young adult that he found his calling as a doctor.
There is a scarce amount of details relating to Amour's past as a doctor-in-training, and he was nowhere to be seen until he established his clinic a few years ago. His extensive knowledge as a medical practitioner and psychiatrist validates his genuine credibility, and he rarely had trouble convincing other buns. But while some were surprised by his career of choice after becoming independent, many others were astonished by the drastic change in his personality, mannerisms, and appearance. Just like his past, Amour refuses to give any explanation and states nothing more than growing out of his nativity after becoming a full-fledged doctor.
Present Day
In the present day, Amour has earned his doctoral degree and founded his mental health clinic - Psyche Cura. As the director and a psychiatrist, he is devoted to providing a haven for those struggling with mental health and ensuring a positive and safe work environment for his staff. As an ordinary individual, he is condescending and self-centered underneath his inimitable facade. However, when it comes to his role as a doctor, he's sincere in his desire to aid others by any means and put the well-being of others above his own.
Since his reputation's exceptional growth, Amour has softened his once-callous perspective on the world and embraced the gradual changes in his life outside his work. With his lovers' and companions' influences, he discovers certain emotions from being seen for who he is rather than the prominent doctor everyone knows him as. Over the years, he has adjusted his personal goals to enjoy life outside his office and allowed himself to explore new possibilities while deepening his connections with others.
