Hops

“Don’t dip your ear into that, silly!” Hops laughed as Zian’s humiliating, unsuccessful attempt at mixing a drink went from bad to worse. Or, well, in their eyes it went from bad to worse. The entire concoction was so off-kilter that they couldn’t actually tell whether they made a senseless mush or something else entirely. Comparing their drink to what they’d seen Hops serve countless times now, they were definitely feeling down about their ability to make anything substantial....

As Hops shakes the cocktail mixer, she can’t help but bounce a little on her feet, hopping in time to the same rhythm as she shakes the mixer. Holding it out with a flourish, she deftly pours the mixture through a sieve into an awaiting glass. Removing the sieve, she adds a little more ice. Adding the soft drink mixture, she twirls it around expertly with a plastic stirrer. Finally, she adds a lemon and lime garnish before handing it over to the latest patron....

“Hops, my darling~!” Angora calls, making a beckoning motion with her finger towards her favourite little bun. Hops bounds over, tray in hand, looking at her boss expectantly.
