Casque's Second Diligence (I guess)

"CASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSIE!"
Casque's shoulders immediately hunched and he closed his eyes as he took several deep breaths to hold back his temper at the source of that voice. He then slowly opened his eyes and turned around to glare at one of several banes of his existence, a certain Skeletal black and red Pride; Aletheia.

"Aletheia. What the fuck are you doing here?" Casque snarled as Aletheia bounced up to the tasting table with a wide grin on her face. "Oh come on can't I visit a friend?" The Pride chimed up as Casque scowled at her.

"I'm busy...."
"Fine! I wanted to know when you're free for a double d-"
"Nope. You know that's not Montresor's thing nor is it Amarylis's" Casque immediately shot her down with a roll of his eyes "Besides, Montresor and I already had an outing the other day. Go pester some other couples. I really am busy today." Casque had planned to go up to Heavenly Embassy to check on the Garden of Virtues and to speak to Primrose today.

"Aww well fine then." Aletheia pouted slightly as Casque moved past her to head out for the day. She would have try to pester him another day for a double date.

"You did not have to come along, Statue...." Casque murmured to his Gargowl that had chosen to tag along by perching on one of his antlers. It only hooted softly as the Envy rolled his eyes fondly at the imp. "Very well then."
The elevator doors opened and Casque entered after waiting for few other Succubuns to exit first.

"WAIT UP!" A voice called out and Casque lunged forward to push the button to keep doors open. A Gluttony bun slipped inside with a quiet thanks as Casque nodded stiffly while moving away from the buttons. As the doors finally closed and the elevator took them up to the Heavenly Embassy, Casque glanced over; noticing his Gargowl having shuffled around a little and the Envy spotted a Remil clinging to one of the horns on the other doll's head. Sighing softly, he reached up to poke Statue's feathers gently. A firm reminder to behave. The Gluttony glanced over to see Casque huff in amusement when his Gargowl puffed its feathers up in protest.

"Apologies. Statue likes to chase Remils..." Casque spoke up upon noticing eyes on him and the other bun chuckled softly while waving it off. Seems this wasn't an unusual occurance for them.
The elevator doors opened and they both exited only for Statue to immediately take off from Casque's antlers to explore the Embassy.

"Fu-....Freaking Burrowgatory, Statue!" Casque corrected his language when he saw a Cherubun lingering nearby and sprinted after his Gargowl, leaving the other Succubun to laugh at his misfortune.

The stony owl caused few startled screams from Cherubuns as Casque ran past with uttered apologies while chasing his imp. He finally chased Statue to where it had chosen to perch on top of one of the statues in Garden of Virtues and when Casque bent down to read the plaque; he realized his Gargowl had perched on top of Statue of Diligence.

"You little shit" Casque sighed as he got up to stare at the Gargowl before his ears picked up on sound of loud scandalized gasp.
Shit. A Cherubun had heard him swearing. Casque turned around to face them and groaned.

"Apologies. My Gargowl is in a bit of mood." He glanced back at the imp, glaring at it with a jerk of his head but the imp refused to comply with the unspoken order.
"Statue. Come here." The Gargowl fluffed up its feathers and Casque rolled his eyes before turning back to ask the Cherubun about Primrose. When he had gotten the answer, he set out to find the prissy Cherubun with Statue eventually flying to perch on Casque's antlers.

Casque blinked when he finally approached Primrose only to see him sorting out what Casque recognized to be dried tea leaves.
"I wasn't aware tea leaves were also grown here." He spoke up and held up hands in silent apology when Primrose jumped in surprise at his voice.

"Ah...yes. We enjoy our tea. Through those are for Dove....Speaking of-"
"I'm fine delivering them, I plan to visit Dove and Jackal afterwards. I know you are busy. However in meantime, may I be of assistance in getting those sorted out first?" Casque interrupted and Primrose scowled but nodded as Casque settled down by them to sort through the leaves, packing them into satchels for a while. Eventually they finished up and Statue had changed antlers few times. As Casque sat back up with the tea leaves satchel in his arms, he noticed Primrose eying the imp on his antlers.

"Oh... That's Statue, a Gargowl It likes to hang around sometimes. I might bring it back again next time I stop by. Statue seems to like the Heavenly Embassy even if it had bit of chaotic start." He explained to Primrose's understanding nod. "I do have three other imps but they don't venture outside my home property often. Anyways, I'll bring this to Dove. I will stop by again when I next have free time to." Casque excused himself from Primrose's presence as he and Statue headed back to the elevator to return to the Burrowgatory.

When they reached Burrowgatory, Statue immediately flew off with Casque hurrying after it while being mindful of the package in his arms.

Since Casque had been to Jackal's and Dove's apartment on multiple occasions already, it was easy for him to navigate his way over and it also helped that his Gargowl was leading the way over. When he got to the door, he knocked twice before letting himself in; chuckling at Jackal's eye roll as Casque made his way into the kitchen to set the package down by Dove.

"Primrose's busy today and I was already planning to stop by anyways. Here's the lea leaves from Heavenly Embassy. Shall I stay over for tea time then?" Casque offered Dove a kind smile as the shorter Cherubun brightened up at the sight of tea leaves package and tackled him in a friendly greeting hug.

"Yes please, Casque! Do stay for tea. I prepared enough boiling water for all three of us and Jackal has agreed to having some tea. Come come! Do tell me about your day please." Casque chuckled at the eagerness of his friend as they moved back into dining room where the tray of snacks had been laid out and Dove set down the kettle with tea already steeping inside as Jackal began to question Casque on his time spent at Heavenly Embassy earlier in his day.
