Jackal is one of the first succubuns with envy horns to ever enter Burrowgatory. She was raised by the neglectful demon Gremory, who often ignored the rest of her charges in favor of a couple "golden children." As such, she carries a lot of bitterness, resentment, and envy towards those who experience the sort of unconditional love she was denied as a child.

Jackal has a very gruff and prickly demeanor. She doesn't like to be tied down, and only ever works odd jobs when she needs cash. She spends most of her time listening to punk music, or smoking in alleyways like she's about to peer-pressure someone in an anti-drug commercial. Though she's difficult to approach, those who have gotten a peek behind the high walls she's built know that deep down, she's soft and insecure.

Jackal cares deeply about the well-being of other envy-horned succubuns, especially ones raised by Gremory. She was the "leader" of the first group of envy succubuns to enter Burrowgatory, and is always there for them when they need help.
