MYO-4024: Mortis
MORTIS
Mean· Stubborn· Quiet· Loving
Mortis is a CEO of a large corperation in burrowtary, primarily working with large and small buisnesses and keeping the areas around it both safe and out of the watchful eyes of law enforcment. It's suspected that Mortis works with multiple crime rings, forming bonds to keep not only him safe but his buisnesses that bring in the carats.
He hasn't confirmed or denied these rumors.
Outside of work, he's still a fairly blunt and intimidating succubun, seeming to be annoyed by many.
His protective shell around him permits him from making many friends, with the few he has he keeps them at arms length. However.. its not unlikely to get past his walls if you befriend his pets, if they like you he will signifigantly be sweeter. A side that should be honor, because its always too scared to come out.
When it does come out, its a sweet side of him taht he rarely lets anyone see. Some of love and care, and sweetness that could rot your teeth with how gentle he can be. It is a part of him he wants to show more but he's not that trusting of people.
Mortis is the youngest child of a trio of buns, the eldest being Zephyr with the middle being Sebastian.
They are 3 brothers with very strain realtions but the one Mortis has the most contact with is Zephyr due to buisness.
LIKES
- Mortis lives cute imps, his favorite as of late has been the pedigree Imp, Floracoon! When the imp's came out, Mortis adopted a total of 4, and recently adopted a 5th by rescue!
- Despite his outward personality, Mortis likes to help people. He can seem scary but he does care for others.
- He likes cute things...... Must be why he loves his girlfriend so much.
- Speaking of, he loves his girlfriend.
Dislikes
- He's not a huge fan of paperwork, but thats a majority of his work so he tends to have a very short fuse after sitting on his ass for hours doing paperwork.
- He's never been a big guy on sweets but he can eat them, just not his go to.
- Both of his brothers, however he's got a much stronger dislike towards Sebastian due to their past and history. Zephyr is on a slow decline of dislike.
PERSONALITY
DESIGN NOTES
Mortis was made with the sole intent to mirror Sebastian, however he's suppose to look more related to Zephyr because they are most likely true littermates! However Sebastian was just apart of the litter of that batch.
Originally he wasn't suppose to have tentecales as I actually hate drawing them myself but my friend had given me the drink and suddenly I was giving them to him! I have no regrets and genuinely find them perfect now.
His tentecales come right out from above his tail and go up his spine! They wrap around his waist or bunch up behind him depending on where he wants them but they also have a mind of their own. His girlfriend could tell you that.
TRIVIA
- Mortis's name comes from the video game FAITH!! It is a huge huge comfort of mine! I was playing Markipliers video while making him and it felt like the perfect name to give him!
- He is one of my darkest designs and I myself struggle a lot with drawing him! I have a lot of regrets with this but i also love him too much to change him.
- He is one of my favorites and is a bit of the 'main character' of my buns!
REALTIONSHIPS
Candace is a bun who got past his shell and makes Mortis happy. Meeting by chance, he adored the lust bun the moment he saw her. He started loving her sweetly as a crush before it slowly turned into a love and now he is so madly in love with her, it could be considered sickening. He wants to marry this bun, and worries its too soon some days.
Rowan works under Mortis. Being one of the few who can stand working so clos eto him, which is a feat on its own, Rowan is in charge of most paperwork, appointments, meetings, and little things that can cause a headache for Mortis. Does not mean he is safe from his own headache, But also, being a lust bun, Rowan has needs and he took the job because Mortis needs a certain kind of.... stress toy. One that he fills the role of often.
Knox is a former fighting bun, who worked for Zephyr. He was hired by Mortis, or well saved, and in turn he became increadibly thankful to him. He works as Mortis's body guard but like Rowan, is now a plaotnic partner to Mortis. Mortis finds a sense of security in Knox and how Loyal he is to him, and trusts Knox quite a lot.
Zephyr is Mortis's older brother and partner in buisness though their contact is less and less over the months due to Zephyr's care for Mortis is questioned constantly. Mortis knows Zephyr is bad for him, but he can't help but not want to loove this realtionship.
Sebastian ruined his realtionship with Mortis unintentionally, and he bugs Mortis often to try and fix it. Mortis wants to believe him but last time he did, Sebastian ruined him. So he's too scared.
