occupation: lighthouse keeper stranded on a strange beach.  nearby is a small hamlet.

accursed by horrible prophecy and forever tied to the tides, friede yearns for a life of normalcy but the clock is ticking and it's only a matter of time before she becomes the mother.  already, the transformation has begun and there is no escaping it, but she'll run across the crescent-shaped beach for as long as possible.

personality: haunted, head-in-the-clouds, a romantic through and through — a dream-like woman as fickle as the ocean, gentle and soothing one minute, a tidal storm the next.
hobbies: painting, experimenting with new recipes, scrapbooking in her myriad of diaries — anything to keep herself distracted.
