Grumbling, Briar scooped up the small white bun and his pillow, holding them nestled in his arms. Shibani had offered rewards in return for snow, and while Briar very much wanted the promised reward, he really didn’t want to go out and drag heavy cold snow back for his prize. It was so much easier to bring the rabbit to the snow instead. Walking briskly through the streets with the dozing bun in his arms, comfy atop his pillow, he headed towards the outskirts where Klawd was waiting for him. He wasn’t sure how it had ended up being him instead of Klawd to fetch Shibani, manual labour wasn’t his favourite activity, and he hoped Klawd would at least have a present for him.

Arriving at the outskirts, he’d only had to catch Shibani twice on the way, the small rabbit having shifted and rolled in his sleep too close to the edge of his pillow and not even stirred when he was stopped from falling and placed back onto safety. Earlier he and Klawd had looked for a more quiet and secluded area to bring Shibani for a playdate, but now he couldn’t locate Klawd where he’d left him. Setting Shibani, on his pillow, in the snow, Briar started to take off his scarf to keep the sleeping bun warm, when a Starbuns cup blocked his vision. He turned, Klawd standing behind him with hot beverages, with some sort of strange wooden contraption on a rope lead behind him. Klawd must have noticed Briar’s perplexed expression as he informed him it was called a “Sled.”

Briar took the offered drink, taking a sip and placing the insulted cup in the snow near Shibani, before starting to pack snow around Shibani, making a circular wall around the sleeping bun. Klawd saw what Briar was doing and decided he might help by bringing more snow to him. Grabbing nearby snow and bringing an armful at a time to Briar as he constructed his ‘masterpiece’. Briar continued to build up the wall, taller and narrower with each passing around. The igloo was thick and already warmer than outside. Briar saw Klawd was constructing a small tunnel to one side making an entrance. Briar climbed out of the hole and looked at their creation, admiring their handy work. He was smoothing the outside, making it smooth and appealing when the small white bun came crawling out of the hole yawning. He looked to the igloo a bit perplexed as he wasn't aware of his surroundings just yet.
"Do you like it?" Briar asked the sleepy bun.
Shibani yawned again and nodded happily. "I love it! When did you have time to do this!?" He asked curiously.
"You've been asleep for at least an hour." Klawd pointed out. Shibani looked up to the sky and saw the sun had shifted quite a lot from the last time he could remember.
"I suppose I have…." He said Looking at his surroundings. He remembered Briar offering to take him to the snow but honestly doesn't remember much after that. But Briar did deliver (him)! He saw the wooden sled off to the side and started doing a little dance. "Oh, you have a sled! Do you want to go sledding?" He asked excitedly.
"Yes! It would be so much fun!" Briar said, grabbing the string on the front and looking to Klawd for direction. Klawd gave his head a faint shake then motioned to a good high hill, not too far from where their igloo was stationed, and Briar started to run toward it. Klawd scooped up Shibani and plopped him on the sled as it passed, and watched as the two ran off to start their sledding adventure.
