Elyver walked up to the emporium, hoping to look at all the little, dirty imps. He'd seen them grow in popularity these last few weeks. He wasn't much of a care taker, in fact, he could barely keep himself alive. But he had to admit, the little puff balls did have a unique aura around them. They were kind of cute.
walking up to the emporium, Elyver tried to open the door, but found it locked. Why was this? It was the middle of the evening! Why would a place of business be closed at peak shopping hours?!
"Can I help you with something?" a voice behind him asked. He turned to see a ruddy brown haired Bun standing behind him. His thick square glasses made him look like a nerd of sorts, but he was quite cute. There were several black imps surrounding him, one around his leg, another clutching to his arm, Elyver even swears he saw one peek out of his hair at one point.
"Uh, yeah. I wanted to look at some imps, do you work here?" he asked awkwardly.
The stranger pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose and smiled. "I do, I'm the owner! my names Hutch."he said, putting out his hand. Elyver grabbed it and shook it. "Do you know anything about imps?" he asked?
"not really, no. But I wouldn't mind trying to learn?" he said, unsure of himself. He's usually so much more confident, but the situation has him second guessing his life right now.
Hutch smiled and walked past Elyver to the door. "I'm glad to hear it! As long as you're willing to learn, I'm willing to teach you. We have a lot of imps who need a good home." he said as he unlocked the door and ushered Elyver inside. Hutch reached behind the front counter and pulled up a pen and a pad of paper. "You're going to need this." he said with a devilish smirk. Elyver froze for a moment, but suddenly flipped open the pad and was at the ready. "Now, let's start with the Loafki!"
