Envy Succubuns

During adolescence, most succubuns spend their time indulging in the joys of food, relaxation, material goods, physical pleasure, and self-love, leading to the development of one of the five standard types of horns: gluttony, sloth, greed, lust, or pride. However, if a young succubun is denied the opportunity to enjoy these things, they may find themself growing a more unusal type of horns...

ENVY

When coming of age, succubuns who spend most of their time feeling envious of what those around them have, rather than indulging in their own desires, may end up growing envy horns instead of one of the "standard" types. Envy horns resemble small antlers with a single off-branch, though they do not shed their horns like other antlered animals.

Envy succubuns were not known in Burrowgatory until April of Year 100, when a group of them who had been abandoned by the demon Gremory were discovered interfering with the hazebloom harvest. They remain very rare and unusual in Burrowgatory, though it's theorized that they may become more common over time.

GREMORY

Most succubuns are raised by Murmur, the gold standard of demon caretakers, who lavishes all of his charges with affection and indulges all of their desires. However, Murmur can't raise every single succubun on his own, and not every other demon who steps up to help him does the best job.

Gremory is a conceited demon who likes to pick favorites from amongst her charges, spoiling them with anything they want, while the rest wind up starved for her attention. Gremory's charges who aren't her "golden children" typically end up growing envy horns. Despite this behavior, Murmur continues to give her more succubuns to raise, to the dissatisfaction of many of her former charges.

How to Get an Envy Succubun

Succubuns with envy horns will periodically be sold on our sales page.

As envy succubuns are currently rare in Burrowgatory, they can't be obtained from the normal Hell in a Handbasket MYO items. If you wish to create an MYO envy succubun, you'll need an Envious Handbasket.

To obtain an Envious Handbasket, you can purchase an Envious Handbook from the Envy Support Group, then exchange it to turn a Hell in a Handbasket or Hell in a Handbasket (USD) into an Envious Handbasket.

Please note that Envious Handbooks are only usable on unopened handbasket items, not opened MYO slots, and cannot be used to change the subtype of an existing succubun or MYO slot.
