Design Submission Guide

If this is your first time ever submitting a new MYO or design, please read our MYO Guide for a detailed walkthrough of the submission process!

A succubun's bun design is required for masterlist approval. You can submit a bun design without a doll form, but you cannot submit a doll design without a bun form.

Succubuns without a doll form can have one added for free at any time. Doll forms must be registered to the masterlist in order to earn carats with them.

Image Requirements

The following image requirements apply to all images submitted to the masterlist, including additional reference images:

  • Must be at least 500px on the shortest side, and no more than 1500px on the longest side.
  • Must be a .PNG file.
  • Must be transparent and backgroundless.
  • The succubun must be the only thing in the image—no additional detail shots, turnarounds, text, or decorations.
  • The succubun must be facing forwards and fully visible, with no parts cut off. (Additional references, submitted after approval through Design Updates, may include back shots.)
  • Doll forms must be clothed. (Additional references, submitted after approval through Design Updates, may include nude dolls.)
  • All succubun art on the masterlist must be made specifically for the Succubuns masterlist. We do not allow edited adoptables or premade art with succubun traits added to be submitted; if you would like to turn an existing adoptable into a succubun, please create or commission new art for it.
  • On-base artwork may only use bases made specifically for Succubuns. You're welcome to either use the official Succubuns bases, or search the Gallery for player-made bases to use.

Submitting an MYO

Players are limited to submitting 2 MYOs per month. Design Updates are not limited.

Please review the MYO Guide for a detailed walkthrough of how to fill out the submission form.

You’re welcome to submit just a bun design now, and then add the doll form later. However, if you have the doll form finished, please submit it alongside the bun, rather than waiting for the bun to get approved and then submitting the doll separately.

Submitting a Doll Design

If you own a succubun that does not yet have a doll design, you can add one for free.

On your succubun's masterlist entry, click Update Design in the sidebar, and then click Create Request.

If you’re not making any changes to the bun form, you can leave the Bun Only Image section blank.

Under the Doll Image section, submit an image containing just the doll form. Then, under Bun & Doll Image, submit an image with both the existing bun art and the doll art positioned next to each other. This will be the main image displayed on the masterlist entry—you can view individual NPC masterlist entries for an example of what this should look like.

If your design uses an official Succubuns base, please do not submit your license under Add-Ons, as approving your submission would remove the license from your inventory.

Editing/Updating a Design

Note: The bun forms of official buns cannot be edited unless done by the original artist. You can add and update doll forms as you please, but you will need to commission the artist in order to add traits or make changes. This only applies to buns whose masterlist numbers start with BUN, not ones who start with MYO.

If you would like to update your succubun's design in any way, you can do so by clicking Update Design in the sidebar of their masterlist entry, and then clicking Create Request.

If you're updating only one of the two forms, you can leave the other field blank, but please include a new Bun & Doll Image no matter what, as that is the main masterlist image.

All past versions of a succubun’s design will remain in their Images tab for archival purposes, and cannot be removed or used on a different MYO slot.

Changing Accessories, Style, or Doll Form

If you simply want to update the art, change what a succubun is wearing, or make superficial changes to the doll form (such as body type, skin color, hairstyle, or clothing), you’ll need to attach a Sin and Tonic to your submission.

Changing Colors, Markings, and Existing Traits

If you would like to change your succubun's colors, patterns, or the presentation of their existing traits, please attach either a Bourbun or a Hopscotch to your submission.

A Bourbun is used to make small changes, such as adding or removing a marking, changing one color in the palette, or changing where a trait is positioned on the body.

A Hopscotch is used to make large changes, such as changing the main coat color, or to completely redo the design.

Please note that a succubun’s horn type cannot be changed, even with a Hopscotch.

Adding and Removing Traits

If you would like to add new traits, you’ll need to attach the corresponding Drink item to your submission. You can find your desired trait in the Encyclopedia to see what item is needed.

If you would like to remove traits, you’ll need to attach a Drabsinthe to your submission.

Reverting or Removing a Design

In order to revert a succubun to a previous design found in their Images tab, you will need to attach a Drabsinthe to your submission. If any traits exist on the previous design that have since been removed, you will need to re-add those traits with the appropriate Drinks in order to revert to the previous design.

If you would like to remove the doll form of a succubun, you’ll need to attach a Drabsinthe to your submission. You can only remove a doll form if it was added by a different artist than the bun form; if both forms were designed together, you can replace the doll form with a new one, but you cannot remove it.

Submitting Additional Reference Images

You can submit additional reference images, such as a nude reference, alternate outfits, alternate gender presentations, or back shots to be hosted in the official Images tab of your character's masterlist entry.

To do so, please wait until your initial design has been approved to the masterlist, and then go to Update Design. Submit your additional image under the appropriate section of the Masterlist Image tab, and attach a Sin and Tonic under Add-Ons.

All additional reference images must follow the Image Requirements, including the fullbody requirement.

Reference images that don't follow our masterlist image requirements may be submitted to the General Gallery. These will show up under the Gallery tab on your character's masterlist entry.
