[Gift] Coffee beans

Griswold was generally not in the habit of leaving the house, he would usually spend the whole day working on his research, reading a book or working on his personal projects. He was a rather lonely succubun at times but it wasn't unpleasant or sad in his eyes. Especially because at home he already had the company of his vampire pupils who were dedicated to learn from his teachings when they had classes or even the company of that "wolf" who rarely left his side.

That specific day, that same bun had tried to ask him several times where he was going and why he didn't seem to want to explain what he had been doing the last few weeks without explaining anything. This was just Gray's outings to the cherubuns' embassy where lately he had gone to complete some tasks for Primrose and a few other buns as well.

Of course, this, wolf did not know. Wolf was his boyfriend's self-proclaimed name. 

Now, as he left his house on his way to the heavenly embassy he couldn't help but feel that there was someone following him and he had a pretty good idea who it might be. "Magnus Wolf... I can feel your gaze, come out wherever you are." That vampire exclaimed as he glanced behind him only to see the aforementioned one emerge from behind an alleyway almost with his tail between his legs out of apparent grief at being caught following his boyfriend out of jealousy. "Sorry..." Gray heard coming from Magnus. Griswold could only sigh as he smiled patiently at him, opening his arms for him to come to him, watching as that man quickly changed his countenance and ran to hug him lovingly and rather clingily.

Gray could only chuckle a little as he resumed his walk now with Magnus behind him, knowing that he definitely couldn't stop the wolf from following him that time. "I don't mind you following me or seeing where I'm going, I'll simply ask you to behave yourself. I know where we're going you might not like it too much..." That would confuse Magnus a bit, but he wouldn't complain, just contentedly wagging his tail like an imp, happy to accompany his boyfriend. "Come on, you know who you're talking to, there's no place that can take me" he would say proudly pointing to himself, making Gray only a little nervous, as he sighed, noticing that Magnus' excitement could only make him see a little Wulven imp in his boyfriend.

"If you're so smart, then I hope you don't make a mess where we're going." Gray would say giving him a careful kiss on the man's cheek as he pointed to the embassy, of course, this made Magnus almost look like he saw a ghost, since immediately his tail stopped wagging and he didn't seem to understand why they were going there. What business did they have as succubuns in a place full of saints? That was the face Magnus had and Griswold saw despite not being able to read his thoughts. "I came to pick up a box of coffee beans for Beanny's coffee shop. Remember that coffee shop I took you to last week? Paradise coffee..." This would make Magnus look surprised and Gray could only laugh slightly chagrined. "Did you turn delivery boy or what?" It was his boyfriend's disbelief that made Gray laugh the most, who could only deny it as he walked beside him inside that embassy.

"No. I'm simply here to fulfill a favor for an acquaintance. Primrose, the manager of this place is very busy and sometimes requires other buns to help him. A few weeks ago I was here volunteering, and today I came to help him deliver those coffee beans to Beanny."

After entering, Gray made sure his boyfriend wasn't going to steal or break anything in that place while he looked for Primrose, whom he would approach upon seeing him apparently watering some plants in the garden. "Primrose! Hi, sorry for the slight delay, I came to pick up the delivery for Beanny, I'm accompanied today." He would point to his boyfriend, who would only seem to raise his middle finger at Primrose causing a big scare in Gray who would quickly put Magnus' hand down as he apologized deeply. That man would still exclaim in sorrow as he watched Primrose just sigh and with a serious face ask him to accompany him to the warehouse where they had the order for Beanny. That said by primrose could only calm him a little as he received the box of coffee beans, smiling at that Cherubun.

"Thanks for the understanding, Magnus isn't that bad, he can just be a little jealous at times.... I'll get this as soon as possible to Beanny and I'll come next week to water the plants as we agreed." After saying that and saying goodbye with a big smile, he would walk out of the embassy looking around for his boyfriend, who was sitting like a scolded little impup on the ground outside the embassy. Of course, he said nothing just offering him his arms to help him carry the box of coffee beans in a gentlemanly manner in silence with that chagrined face that rather looked angry. All this would only make Griswold laugh tenderly, giving her a quick kiss on the lips before starting to walk away still holding the box himself. "Don't worry, like I said before I'm not mad at you, come on, we'll drop these coffee beans off and have a drink together there, you think? I brought some extra carats in case you'd like something to eat too." Gray knew he had done well as he watched Magnus' tail begin to wag back and forth happily despite his still somewhat annoyed face.

After a somewhat pleasant walk of the two of them chatting, they would have arrived at the paradise cafe, Gray entering with a big smile as he smelled that delicious aroma in the air.

"Welcome to Paradise café, may I know what you would like to drink?" That pleasant voice would come from the Cherubun behind the counter, who had a big smile on her face as she seemed to put aside her coffee machines for a moment to attend to the customers that had entered, quickly recognizing one of them as Griswold. That succubun who had been visiting his coffee shop almost daily in the past and without saying anything would always stay for several hours at one of the tables in the back while he wrote things down in his books. Beanny could not deny it, from time to time she was curious to know what that man was writing down in his notebooks, although she never asked him not wanting to interrupt his work and well, they almost always had enough work attending to many customers in those hours as well.

"Well, if it isn't Griswold, the writer? You come for the usual today? I had already thought something happened to you after you stopped coming in for your daily Late coffee" She would say with a smile as she leaned back on her counter, though she would notice curiously that box Gray and his companion seemed to be carrying.

"Some things happened, certainly my life has changed quite a bit since I stopped coming.... But that's a story for later, today I came to deliver this package for you, it's coffee beans from Primrose from the embassy, she asked me to deliver them to you today as she was too busy to do it herself. "If I'm honest... As an investigator it was inevitable that this whole thing with his arrival caught my attention, and once I started investigating I couldn't help but become increasingly interested.
