Chapter Four: Coffee Delivery

Another Week has passed and Chester was once again on the way to the Heavenly Embassy. He already showered, fed his Imps and ate a bowl of cereal. Chester was ready to do good and help the Cherubuns again. He even stood up earlier than normally!

He walked into the building, humming some happy melody. He was in a pretty good mood. Chester searched for Primrose as he always gave Chester his tasks, but he was nowhere to be seen.
When entering the Greenhouse, Chester could hear someone doing something.
“Primrose?” the Succubun called out and Primrose looked around a corner, smiling for a second when he saw Chester.
“Chester, good, you can help me.” the Cherubun said in an ordering tone and waved him over.
Chester immediately came closer, smiled and said in a friendly way.
“That’s why I am here, to help you out~” he purred happily.
“Yea yea I know,so..” Primrose started and stacked two crates on Chesters arms.
“Please bring these to Beanny’s Café.” he finished.
“To Paradise Café? What is in the crates?” Chester asked curiously and sniffed, the crates smelled good.
“Yes, and these are full of Coffee Beans that we grow here in the Heavenly Embassy.” Primrose explained, getting annoyed with Chester again. Ah that was the reason Chester liked the scent of the crates, even though the Succubun preferred tea, Coffee still smells good for him.
“Why-” Chester started but stopped when he saw Primrose's annoyed face.
“Okay I’ll get going then~” he said instead and walked outside of the Embassy.

A delivery task, that's easy to do and relaxing. It should also be done pretty quickly. At least that was what Chester thought.

When Chester made about half the way to Paradise Café, he had a feeling like he was being watched…
He looked around but couldn't see anyone. After a few more steps he heard some leaves rustling behind him and spun around. There was a little Avia sitting on the ground and Chester let out a sigh. It was just an Imp, nothing bad, nothing to worry about…probably.
He walked a few steps further and heard the rustling again, when turning around there were suddenly two Avia sitting on the ground.
Chester slowly made a few more steps and three Avia landed in front of him. Oh no…they wanted the coffee beans!
“No! These aren’t for you!” he said and tried to shoo the Imps away with his tail. The Avia swarm wasn’t impressed at all.
One of them pecked Chester’s tail which made the Succubun squeal in pain.
“Okay that was rude!” he said and stomped on the ground with his hoof.
The Avia swarm made a provoking noise and Chester growled…then just ran as fast as he could past them.
The Imps were confused for a second, before they started to chase him.

Chester was out of breath when he reached Paradise Café and stormed inside. Heavily panting, he stumbled to the counter.
“Coffee Bean delivery..” he said shaky and Beanny came to the counter from the back room.
“Oh no what happened to you, dear?” she asked concerned when she saw Chester breathing heavily.
“A swarm of Avia…wanted the Coffee Beans..” he said and took a few deep breaths.
“Aww thank you for delivering them in one piece then~ How about a nice Coffee~?” she asked with a purr.
“Oh I…I am not that big of a coffee fan.” Chester apologized but Beanny smiled.
“Trust me, I'll make something you like~ Just take a seat and wait~” she said, took the crates and vanished into the back room.
Chester sat down at a small table next to a big window and started to relax. He wasn’t used to running that much, that fast.

After a little time, Beanny came to Chester’s table.
“Here you go~” they said and placed a huge mug in front of Chester. It was topped with cream, marshmallows and rainbow sprinkles.
Chester looked at it with huge eyes.
“Oooh Thank you so much!” he said and took a sip. It was very sweet, which Chester liked and he smiled.
“You are right, I really love this~” he said and Beanny looked very pleased.
“I knew I could make something you like~” they purred and walked back to care for the other customers.

When Chester finished his sweet coffee drink, he walked up to the counter again.
“I am finished~ “ he said and Beanny smiled.
“That’s great~ Did you like it?” they asked and Chester nodded enthusiastically.
“Yes! I liked it a lot! Thank you ~” he answered and both smiled at each other, for an uncomfortably long time…without any of them saying a word.
“I…uhm…would pay then? For my Coffee?” Chester said.
“Oh!” Beanny laughed.
“No it’s on the house~ For delivering the coffee beans!” they said and smiled warmly.
“Oh thank you a lot!” Chester said happily.
“See you then~” he said before walking towards the exit.
“See you! Come back anytime~” Beanny purred and waved.

Chester wanted to go home and call it a day, when he realized he hadn’t told Primrose that he completed the delivery yet! Chester walked as quickly as he could to the heavenly embassy, which still took a while. He went through the gates of the embassy and was promptly ‘greeted’ by Primrose, who almost bumped into him.
“Chester! There you are!” the Cherubun said , a little angry.
“Where have you been the whole time? I thought you ran off with the Crates! “ he added and crossed his arms, awaiting an explenation.
“I delivered the Coffee Beans! And then drank a coffee at Paradise Café and forgot the time.” Chester said with big sad puppy eyes and Primrose let out a sigh.
“Fine, at least you have delivered the beans. Come back next week, the flowers you planted should be ready to be harvested then.” he said and Chester was excited.
“Really? Oh I will be there then!” Chester exclaimed and went home with excitement. Next week he could finally harvest the flowers!
