Casque's Third Diligence (it's going ok???)

"I'm heading out now! Do let anyone who swing by especially our neighbour and his group of friends know that my day's all booked up." Casque spoke as he cracked his knuckles while stretching out his arms. It had been tiring early morning with preparing the barrels for wine not to mention getting the bottles ready for filling up. He wanted to get them over with so his employees could handle the rest of duties for the day. Casque had planned on visiting Dove and going up to Heavenly Embassy to check on Garden of Virtues. It had been a while since he last stopped by after all and Casque was itching to be in that garden again.

It was a quick departure from his property as Casque hurried toward Dove's apartment that they shared with Jackal. Upon his arrival, he let himself in with a spare key he had been given and easily found the sweet petite Cherubun in the kitchen preparing tea.

"Hey there, Dove!" He called out and chuckled upon seeing how they jumped and whirled around to face him; a hand on their chest.

"OH! You startled me. You're a little early." Dove commented as they set the tea kettle onto the tray and brought it out to the dining table for Casque to settle down at.

"I know. I wanted to get out while my mood remains good. Montresor knows I'll be out all day and I didn't feel like dealing with his group of friends." Dove nodded while listening, knowing that sometimes that particular group of friends was enough to put Casque in a foul mood.

"Shall we enjoy some tea before heading up to the Heavenly Embassy to visit Primrose at Garden of Virtues?" Dove offered a small kind smile and that received a nod from the Envy.

After the pair finished their tea time, they headed out toward the elevator to go up to Heavenly Embassy to spend remainder of their day in company of other Cherubuns. The elevator was rather crowded so Dove and Casque hung out near the back as they waited for the lift ascending toward Heavenly Embassy. Thankfully it was a simple process to exit the elevator as everyone were polite and swift in the process. The pair made the turn at the fork to head toward the Garden of Virtues to look for Primrose. With help from few other Cherubuns pointing the way for them to head in, they quickly found him at the section where the water filtering machine happened to be located at. He was performing a check on the machines to make sure they were functional as they should be.

"Is today the day to water the plants?" Casque inquired with curiosity and Primrose yelped in surprise at the sound of the Envy's voice. Seems he had gotten absorbed in his inspection.
Primrose cleared his throat and gave a firm nod as Dove giggled.
"We do have a sprinkler system but we will not be using it today as it is connected to all plots and not all of them need watering. Come along as I fetch the watering cans and we can go to the plots that require watering."

Dove giggled harder at the pleased grin on Casque's face that Primrose missed as he turned around to walk over to where the watering cans were being stored. The shorter Cherubun knew how much Casque loved being outside and getting involved in the gardens so they were quite pleased to have convinced him to come up to Garden of Virtues and help Primrose out.

"I am certain you know how to water plants but I will demostrate regardless as those are delicate" Primrose spoke while handing Dove and Casque their watering cans as Casque nodded at his words. The Envy understood that the Cherubuns valued their plants immensely and would do his due diligence to follow Primrose's instructions. The trio walked to a row of plot and knelt down as Primrose carefully tilted the watering can over the soil so the water could trickle out at a gentle pace. Once the soil colour had darkened, he pulled away the can and moved onto next plant. Casque nodded and moved over to the next row to start watering the plot carefully with Dove working in tandem on the row behind Primrose.

"Do you have your own garden?" Casque glanced over his shoulder upon hearing Primrose's question.

"Not exactly. I own a winery & vineyard so I often grow my grapes among other fruits and plants to use in my alcohol production as well as in meals and food offered on my property. I am quite fond of cooking so I grow lot of herbs and spices. I would bring some samples up here but you Cherubuns cannot consume alcohol just like us Succubuns cannot consume ambrosia." Casque spoke as he sat back on his knees, blinking at the surprised look on Primrose's face.

"You have knowledge on our ambrosia?"
"It's because Casque, Jackal and I talked about this a lot" Dove piped in with a small smile "Casque is a wonderful cook however. He has made few dishes for me without the use of alcohol. Perhaps he could bring few dishes with him on his next visit?" Their blue eyes shifted toward the Envy who had just found himself being volunteered to cook some food for the prissy Cherubun.

He sighed deeply much to Dove's amusement "I suppose I will if it is fine with Primrose?"
"I would like that." Primrose nodded as the trio resumed watering their respective rows of plot until they were all appropriately soaked in water. Casque trailed behind the two quietly conversating Cherubuns as he pondered on how calm he has seemed to gotten while helping Primrose a bit lately.
Must be because of the Garden of Virtues and his passion for hard work with plants? Casque quietly clicked his tongue as he went to refill his watering can before following Dove and Primrose to one of large rows of plants. It would most certainly require all three of them and several more other buns to work together. Casque was not surprised to see a large basin of water near that particular plot.

"That basin is for filling the watering can up so we do not have to keep going back to the filtering machines" Primrose explained, confirming the Envy's inner thoughts as they all knelt down to start treating the dry soil with fresh water so the plants can flourish.

"How often do you go out and water your plants?" Primrose inquired Casque who was carefully tilting the watering can over the delicate plants.

"Depends on the plants. Some need more frequent watering while others need less. I have a sprinkler system set up on my property especially around the trees and bushes to lessen the work necessary on everyone" Casque's voice was quiet as he focused on the watering duty; receiving a nod from the Cherubun who raised an eyebrow at his diligent focus. Dove giggled nearby as they got up to refill their watering can.
"Casque often get lost in his gardening easily. It's honestly something he truly enjoys. Some of his employees often employ the use of intercom system to remind him to look after himself" Dove spoke as they returned to continue watering the plants, getting a frown from Primrose who had stopped watering the plants.

"It's not a bad thing per so, Primrose. Gardening is a relaxing hobby and passion for me. Sometimes it can be hard to snap out of my focus so I often have my friends come over in the summer to help with harvest and make sure I don't get overly focused. I do look after myself fairly well" Casque rolled his eyes as Primrose clicked his tongue. The trio slowly moved along the row along with other buns, watering the plants with repeated trips to the basin to refill their watering cans. There were chatter of multiple conversations going on around them as other buns worked together to water the plot. With teamwork, it was quick to finish the large plot and soon everyone were hydrating up with provided bottles of water as Casque returned the watering can to the original spot.

"Thank you very much for your help, Casque. Come back in three days please. It's our coffee beans harvest and I will need help delivering them to Beanny." Casque nodded at Primrose's grateful words.
"I will clear my schedule." Casque departed shortly after with parting farewells as Dove trailed behind him, chatting at him cheerfully.
