Two Envies Sing??

"KARAOKE???? JACKAL WHAT THE FUCK??" Casque screeched one afternoon while outside in his vineyard and checking on his grapes when Jackal had approached him with an odd request.
"It's not for me! It's for Dove!" Jackal protested and Casque scowled at her as he pulled away from a tree.
"Still. Karaoke??? Who the fuck do you think I am??"
"Some sourass loser who won't do this tiny favor for a sweet angel....."
"You're fucking soft for them!" Casque snapped as his spirit motes floated around his antlers "I don't fucking sing!"
"It's either karaoke or a tea party."
"Fuck." Casque ran a hand through his hair with a loud groan. He did not sing but he hated tea parties even more; they were not his vibe and he only tolerated them for Dove's sake.

"......Will others be getting invited?" Jackal had to confirm Casque's suspicions and he groaned loudly. "Fuck me."
"Pass!" Jackal smirked as Casque screeched at her witty remark.
"You're not even my type, damn you!" He snarled, baring his singular fang and Jackal snickered.
"I'll go with you, don't worry you pretty little shithead."
"DON'T FUCKING CALL ME PRETTY, FUCKFACE!"

Casque was surprised to see Dove and a short prideful woman when he had showed up to the karaoke venue with Jackal. He had expected there to be more buns but whatever this is fine.
A prideful doll through? This would not go over well. The envy doll could see Jackal cringe from beside him and it was evident she was thinking the same as him. They were far too alike and Dove would have quite the time tonight.
"Jackal! Casque! So good of you both to come!" Dove's delighted voice greeted them and they both nodded as they moved forward into the room.

"This is Sapphire. We sang together a while back and she has such a beautiful voice!" The sweet Cherubun was rather eager to introduce the prideful doll. Her sapphire blue eyes glanced up and down at the two envy buns who both scowled in response. At Dove's clearing throat, both scowls immediately dropped.
"Nice to meet you." Jackal started off and Sapphire nodded "Likewise."

"Okay now that we're all together, let's pick a song and get started! We have the room for three hours."
*THREE HOURS??* Casque shot Jackal a look and she mouthed *I am so sorry*

"..... Dove since you two are vested in singing, perhaps you should choose the songs for us?" Casque suggested and was promptly eyed up by Sapphire who tilted her head downwards slightly. Casque got the feeling that she approved of the decision to turn the decision making over to them. He should feel angry, offended, insulted, pissed but oddly he felt comforted in knowing he and Jackal would get a break as this really was not either of their vibe and they had just come for Dove's sake.

As Casque and Jackal leaned back in their seats; Dove handed them the menu for drinks and food as Sapphire caught the Cherubun's attention to discuss songs.

"Guessing we're in charge of the food then" Jackal shrugged as Casque glanced over the menu
"No alcohol, won't be fair to Dove but there are good alternative options....They must be a regular here" he commented as Jackal smirked
"Oh, they are a regular. That's why there's so many mocktails. Here let me pick the drinks out, you handle the food"
Casque nodded as they divided the tasks of setting their meals for the duration.

When the two singers finalized their selection; Jackal and Casque had just sent out for the drinks and meals.

"You two did not order any alcohol tonight, yes?" Sapphire eyed the two Envies who glared at her in offense then Casque spoke up before Jackal could snap "Of course not. It would be inconsiderable to Dove since they cannot partake in drinking....Also, Jackal has told me that Dove is a regular here and there are lot of mocktails available for choosing so Jackal has chosen a selection for us. She lives with Dove and I visit frequently."

There was a hint of annoyance in his voice, and Sapphire bowed her head in apology toward the two Envies she had just offended with her words.

"Shall we start singing while we wait for our orders?" She offered and received answering nods in return.
"Very well then. We chose a nice variety of songs to cater to everyone's tastes."

The first song was soft ballad perfect for Dove. Jackal and Casque struggled to follow due to the song not being to their tastes while Sapphire and Dove easily sang along.
The second song catered to Sapphire perfectly and she sang in high tune while Casque's voice cracked.

The third song had Casque groaning into his hands and Jackal biting back a swear because they both immediately recognized the band from Fifth Circle.
"I swear that bitch haunt me everywhere I go" Casque muttered under his breath, earning an odd look from Jackal before he cleared his throat and began to sing.
