idk why but I've just decided that Devika and Primrose are like a couple cats sizing each other up (Devika more ready to clash than Prim)
When Devika is trying to help out gardening and Prim shows up to unexpectedly cross paths with her and have to try and tell her she's packing the dirt too tightly for the delicate seeds without clashing. Is she actually angry towards him? Who knows. She just knows he gets on her nerves faster than others even when she's logically able to tell he's not doing anything out of the ordinary. Especially in this case, she has to begrudgingly listen to his instructions cause, ultimately, this is quite literally his area of expertise.
She brought Eve along, cause she assumes it wouldn't hurt to have a rose themed pet come and hang out, but the egghels all wanted to join. So, instead of helping out or even just cruising around, Eve the Erose is stuck babysitting the Egghels who want to hop around and check out things.
