B&E with Jackal?

How on earth did Nivea get pulled into this one? The pink bun nervously touched her curled green ears, accidentally starting to straighten them out. But that would be fine right? At least she wouldn't be recognized as easily if they were straight. She usually stayed on top of keeping them curled to the point of perfection. Nivea was always- "Hey you ready or not?" The little sloth turned to look at Jackal, the Dark haired Envy bun was looking as badass as ever, that leather jacket of theirs, all the leather bracelets, those piercings. It almost made Nivea want to try getting a piercing as well. Maybe a stud for her ear. Realizing her thoughts were straying and she hadn't answered her partner in crime she shook her head.

"Of course I'm ready!" The words were half squeaked thanks to her nerves. Jackal just smiled. Nivea watched as they waved a small kit around, holding it in their hand and nodding her head in a motion to follow. "We're going now? Weren't you going to teach me how to use them first?" Jackal stopped abruptly and Nivea almost bumped right into them, thankfully she didn't topple them clean over.

"Why bother? What happens if ya can't do it hmm? Easier to just do it myself." Nivea started to protest. Jackal listened as they whined a little bit about why they would even be needed. Jackal raised their hand up. "Easy there, whoa, of course I need you, I need a lookout to make sure Mercy doesn't come back and catch us opening that door." Nivea could be seen pouting as she crossed her arms, but she did resume walking. Stepping past Jackal she made her way towards the Church of Sulfur. Waving a hand over her shoulder impatiently.

"Well come on then, what are you waiting for?"

Off they both went, a quick excuse handed out, about stress relief and off Mercy went. Perfect. Jackal told Nivea to stand look-out by the corner and warn her if Mercy was coming back before they were done. Nivea did peek back a few times however, as the small tool kit was opened with quiet clinks. She watched as Jackal selected tools like the pro they were. Quick. Decisive. Footsteps sounded however and she swung her head around, panic swelling in her heart. Peeking around the corner however, it was some other bun heading off in a different direction.

Glancing back towards Jackal, Nivea could see them hard at work, two different tools she could barely make out were slid into the lock, and the expression of focus on Jackal's face would have made for an amazing picture. If only she could capture the moment. Sadly however, taking a picture in this instance could only lead to more trouble. Even if they made it without getting caught, the last thing they needed was evidence of the B&E. A quiet, but audible click, and Jackal was ushering her over quickly. They slipped into the room, closing the door behind them as softly as possible.

The search went by quickly, the two buns working as they went. When they had finished what they were doing, Jackal spoke up in a whisper. "We gotta get out of here quick before Mercy comes back, but we have to get this door locked back up." That gave Nivea pause. Was it even possible to relock a door from outside? How could that be done? With the same tools? Some weird jiggle? Jackal simply knelt on the ground once more, tools in hand, and got to work. The same tools used before, a thin stick shaped item and something with grooves. Nivea watched in awe as the other Bun made quick work, carefully maneuvering the tools in the reverse fashion until another soft click sounded.

Jackal was quick to gather their tools up and stuff them in their pockets. Nivea ran off quickly behind them. Had they made it out without trouble? "I say we need a drink after all that." She chimed. Much to her glee, Jackal seemed to agree.
