[Trade] Fashion Forward with Velveteen!

If one looked inside the window at just the right angle they could spot Feleli sprawled out in a comfortable bean bag, his yukata hiked up and barely covering his lower regions and he was surrounded by fabrics. He was tucked away in a small corner yet had good sightline of the entrance.
It had been a rather quiet morning and Feleli had just finished lunch so he was in rather comfortable position and working on some new sketches for fashionwear when the bell rang. His star motes twinkled as Feleli's green and pink eyes shot up to meet a certain pair of brown eyes. His eyebrows raised at the sight of blue purple lust doll with vine markings on ears. Velveteen. This one, on their own. Feleli debated getting up from his seat but he sighed and gave up as he was far too comfortable plus the model was strutting his way.

"This is quite the surprise to see you here. And without Peter to boost" Feleli remarked, for once all business mode. Velveteen cocked their head to the side
"Peter is not at his store. I made the assumption that he would be here. You have been on your own?"
"Apart from what few customers I got this morning? Yeah" Feleli was mildly surprised that his store had been first place to look for the cream sloth. Velveteen's tail swished in mild annoyance at that as they stared down at the tentacled doll who did not even look bothered by the icy cool stare.

"........There is another bean bag nearby if you wish to keep me company" Feleli nodded toward a bean bag that was blotches of cream and grey. It reminded both of them of Peter and Velveteen huffed in slight amusement as they went to settle in
"I'm trying to get some more designs worked out. Got few clients who wants something for some celebrations I suppose" Feleli shrugged "Whatever brings me business is good by me"

"Any personal projects?" Feleli's head turned toward Velveteen questioningly at their question
"Every fashion designer must focus on themselves once in while" Velveteen stated and Feleli glanced back at his sketchbook, and seemed to be lost in his thoughts.

"....I much prefer to design for others than for myself. It is....more enjoyable?" Feleli answered after a long pause and the other lust doll clicked their tongue in thought.

"You do not use lot of sheer fabric" Velveteen noted the low quantity of such fabric in the atelier and Feleli chuckled
"Not popular enough to warrant stocking and besides, I can always go to Cottontail Couture if I require any. Lace is also something I do not stock much of for similar reasons but it does not mean I am not open to using those in my designs. I am sure Peter has told you of my purchases?"
"He has and we both know lace suits you beautifully" There was a glint in Velveteen's brown eyes that had Feleli's delicate cheeks to colour considerably as he recalled the lingerie set he had been allowed to keep.

"We must design you something exquisite-" Feleli opened his mouth to protest but was cut off by a stern look Velveteen sent him "-because you deserve to have such pieces in your wardrobe and you should spoil yourself from time to time. Who knows? It may get you more clients. You are your own walking advertisement" Feleli sighed
"Very well. There is an empty sketchbook in my drawer at the register, the bottom left one" Feleli's eyes returned to the sketchbook in his hands as he poured over potential designs for clients. When Velveteen pulled the beanbag over; Feleli gathered the fabric around him to set aside neatly along with the sketchbook as Velveteen settled down next to him. Normally Feleli would teasingly invite the other doll to share his beanbag with him but he had noticed early on that Velveteen far favored their personal space and it was far better to let them make moves according to their set boundaries.

Soon, a sketch had been conjured; a lovely lacy long sleeved button shirt that was loosely fit and pleated skirt that flared out from the hips. Feleli had tried to protest the shirt but Velveteen's silky voice had convinced him with explanation of how exquisite it will look on him and how Feleli had enjoyed the sensation of his nipples being played with while wearing lace the other week.
Velveteen had looked like a Furdin that had caught a Devish at the blush that had overcome the tentacled doll's delicate cheeks. Feleli had sputtered and made several failed attempts to protest but eventually conceded the point to the smug fashion model.

The pair had carefully extracted themselves from beanbags and went around the store to find a perfect suitable fabric for the skirt. They had both agreed on duo chromatic fabric as it would look absolutely gorgeous. However they could not agree on the colours. Velveteen had found a stunning night blue and silver fabric while Feleli had favored an amethyst purple and baby pink fabric. Feleli had wound up cutting a small patch of both to take with them as they went to Cottontail Couture to pick up lace.
They had both agreed that the lace should be floral in nature and Feleli did not carry such lace around.

One look at the patches had Peter immediately dragging them to a roll of black lace
"I'm with Velveteen on this one" Peter had stated and Feleli had sulked before getting the pout repeatedly pecked off his face by highly amused Peter as he squeezed Feleli's cheeks gently
"Silly, you can figure out something lovely with the other fabric. Come on we have to get the lace cut" Peter's hand on the small part of Feleli's back gently guided the shorter doll to the cutting table with Velveteen right on their heels.

The next time Velveteen stopped by Feleli's shop, they were surprised to see Feleli wearing the outfit they had designed together. The floral black lace looked absolutely exquisite on him, it fit to his body well and yet exposed the skin underneath in such teasing way. The night blue and silver duo chromatic fabric had been pleated and swished around as to compliment his complexation.

Sensing eyes on him from behind, Feleli turned around and the skirt twirled in lovely arc as his curious expression turned rather mischievous as he smirked at Velveteen.
