company dinner

when your boss invites the entire team to a company dinner on a friday after work right before a long holiday and nobody actually really wants to go because it's been a long week and everyone just wants to go home and forget this week ever happened but you can't really say no to your boss inviting you all to a company dinner because everyone will be there and it'll look bad if you say no so you have to go even though you really don't want to and you're not really close with any of your coworkers but at least there's going to be alcohol

no i'm not speaking from experience at all why would you think that
