Like many envy-horned succubuns, Satin was raised under the neglectful "care" of the demon Gremory. When she returned to Burrowgatory alongside Jackal, her brother, and her other peers, she was starved for affection and attention, which she wound up seeking out in the Church of Sulfur.

Unlike her brother, whose experience with Gremory led to him swearing off faith in all demons, Satin became enamored with the idea of demons who actually cared for and watched over Burrowgatory. She developed a particular fascination with demons associated with the domains of love and relationships, obsessively reading the florid accounts of them and praying to them daily in hopes of being guided to her own true love.

Satin now offers a number of services to other succubuns in search of the same, including matchmaking, relationship counseling, and guided prayer to fourteen different obscure demons associated with love. She finds satisfaction in helping people find happiness in their relationships... And yet, at the same, time, the sight of it fills her with a mixture of jealousy and longing for it to finally be her turn to find her match.
