Mercy

THEY/THEM (preferred), SHE/HER

Mercy is the head nun of the Church of Sulfur. Their official job is to run the Bunnery, which handles the collection and care of infant succubuns before they're handed off to the demon Murmur to raise. However, they often wind up doing most of the administrative work for the rest of the church as well, picking up Oleander's slack.

Mercy doesn't mind the extra work, though, as it gives them plenty of opportunity to skim a little off the top. It's only fair, given how much they do to expand the church's reach across Burrowgatory, right? Everyone knows that Mercy is responsible for much of the church's success, and so it only seems natural that they lead a fairly luxurious lifestyle outside of the chapel...

Members of the church would be hard pressed to imagine Mercy having such a shady side. In public, they're the picture of serene poise, always willing to offer a calm smile and gentle words... Any time Oleander starts to get suspicious of the light coffers, Mercy simply distracts him with their skilled hands or open legs, and all is forgotten.
