A sweet and winsome novelist who made his fortune on inventively gruesome murder mysteries. Hosts murder mystery dinner parties at his elegant penthouse from time to time...for inspiration...

He's a gracious flirt but rarely follows through, not least because underneath the newfound glamour still lurks the neurotic ghost-writer living dollar to dollar, and dealing with people finding that out is exhausting. If he looks strangely familiar despite never officially having met, it probably means he's serviced you before in some way from the ludicrous number of odd jobs he'd worked to scrape the bills together back in the day.

Julep D. Bitters is his quirky, flippant pen name. His real name is Julien.

Quill [ Uniqor ] He's technically holding on to the Uniqor till an old roommate comes back. (It's been years, he's never coming back.) Julep is not really a pet person, but he and the Uniqor have come to an understandingTM. Quill is certainly not complaining - it has gone from dinky apartment living to a luxurious penthouse existence. They're often in matching accessories.

Art note: These are fancy gala looks, so if you ever feel like drawing him, feel free to leave off the glitz - bun form often casually wears a ribbon or other small accessories, doll form casually wears elegant/cute femme fashions.
