Vanilla had always been followed around by crime down to the first job she ever had. Her first job was as a dancer in a small nightclub which doubled as a point of action for a smuggling ring. She always knew what was going on but tried her best to stay out of it until she fell for the operations leader. 

That had been many years ago. Her love went to prison and then went into hiding and she came to terms with that. But being left behind like that contributed to her fears of abandonment.

Now living and working at a bordello that offers a safe place she finally can take a deep breath but will always expect crime to find her again.
