Cailean is a jewelry maker. He owns his own jewelry store within Burrowgatory, and often displays new pieces he makes every other week within it's shop windows, or contacts models to have them wear his jewelry for ads or magazines.
He crafts all sorts of jewelry from headpieces, horn pieces, earrings, facial piercings to necklaces, nipple piercings, clasps and other bodily jewelry. He also takes custom orders for those who wish to have personalized pieces or even what he likes to call 'exclusive' jewelry, for the buns who prefer to have a matching set with their other special bun(s). All the jewelry he makes by hand and he's very passionate about his craft. He enjoys taking the time to lovingly craft each and every piece of jewelry. Sometimes if asked, paid a decent amount or if the request itself seems like a challenge or interesting to him, he will branch off from jewelry and take the request. He's skillful in metalworking after all.
He also ensures that it's to the customers satisfaction as he takes great joy in what he does, plus the last thing he wants is his name to be tied to something that isn't perfection in his eyes nor satisfactory to his customers. He's extremely picky about the materials he uses, painstakingly looking over every jewel, stone and crystal used. Ensuring that all chains are sturdy and made from the best materials so that they last, no matter the bun who wears them gets up to. Cailean is also more than happy to put together payment plans or in the rare occasion lower his prices a bit for some buns who truly want a piece of jewelry from him but might not be able to afford the price. Though if any where to abuse this system or take advantage of his kindness they are blacklisted from his store.

Design Notes
For my first bun I struggled a lot trying to figure out how to draw buns in just general, the proportions is what mostly got me and I'm sure I'll come back eventually once I get a good style for bun drawing to revamp his master list art, but for now Cailean is finally real after a literal two week struggle with trying to figure out just how to draw a bun.
Cailean despite not showing a lot of it, playing cards and dice did inspire some of his design, what took most of the design is a literal recipe for candy cane macarons. The image they had on the thread was macarons in the shades of like a aqua mint, a warm pink and a cream color and that just sort of inspired the rest of his look. He originally was supposed to have a completely different vibe but everything kind of went in a different direction.

- Cailean has a large collection of gems and crystals he's collected over the years. No one is allowed to touch them.
- He will gladly take any sort of commission for elaborate body jewelry.
- His nightlife is kept separate from his business life, it's just something he simply prefers.
- He will not simply give out free jewelry to those he sleeps with or make them custom jewelry for free.
- Cailean will often make gift jewelry for close friends or those he has interest in pursuing in the rare occasion with romance in mind.

Story
PERSONAILITY
Cailean at first will appear rather standoffish but polite and mindful as he does have manners. Overall, despite this attitude he is polite and considered friendly to everyone who meets him for a short time or passes on the street. To his friends he is blunt, snarky and sassy, could very well be described as a 'loveable asshole.' Beneath his ice prince attitude, Cailean hates being vulnerable around others, especially those he isn't close to in any form. Stubborn to a fault, moody at best and rather sarcastic. He can be slightly flirtatious, seen in the way he behaves around a rare few or when out at clubs but it's mostly just fun and teasing. This leading into the fact that Cailean despite all his snark and bluntness he can be rather affectionate or kind, which is a rare sight for those who haven't known him very long. Rare few will see him as impish, or playful inside or outside of work unless drunk. He is only ever outright rude and overly sarcastic and sassy towards those who earn it, friendly until provoked to be otherwise. Inside work he is serious and rather bossy. He has a tiny bit of a temper and can grow easily frustrated when things don't go his way the first time around, the problems of being a perfectionist with his craft.
His nightlife is kept from his day life. Usually during his free time upon late evenings to nights he spends his time at bars maybe if he feels like being social he'll go to a club for some fun. He's had more than his fair share of nightly adventures. Never does he bring such things into his workplace, if someone he once slept with shows up looking for him, he will kindly ask them to leave or contact him outside of his work. His shop is not a place for personal matters.
He is very much a workaholic and sometimes becomes so focused on his work that he has to be pulled away from his desk for breaks or be reminded to take a break. Especially when he has commissions to finish, as he is determined to make them the best they can be and finish them in a timely manner. He hates it when people touch his items or his workshop as everything is organized and he keeps strict stock of what items he has or needs for orders. Only very few have explicit permission to be in his workshop with him, let alone touch anything. Cailean enjoys sweet treats and sour candies. His beverage of choice is usually a blend of black tea, little sugar but a decent amount of milk. He does drinks a large variety of tea, but his go to shall always be a black tea. If he has to have something else to drink he'll settle for any sort of juice or fruit smoothie. If he REALLY has to he will drink iced coffee, but it's to be overly sweet so he doesn't taste the bitterness of the coffee.
When he was younger (21-23) he did get into his fair share of trouble before he cleaned up his act. He still keeps in contact with those he had relationships back then, sometimes asking them for favors. He had dealings with multiple different organizations behind the scenes and gets paid handsomely to make their jewelry and other such custom trinkets, under a contract of privacy of course. Valerian, 'a businessmen and debt collector', and Lyndon, a singer/idol, are just a few of his business associates turned somewhat friends behind the scenes, while Cirrus, a model, is a big customer of his.
Hobbies & Interests
Cailean has the habit of collecting items he likes, such as crystals, gemstones, polished jewels. and teacups He has a private collection of gemstones, jewels and crystals that he has collected and doesn't use for anything: nor does he allow anyone to touch them. His growing collection of vintage teacups is smaller is size but ever growing, some he's repaired himself as he's found them broken or cracked. Personally he believes that adds even more of a charm to them. He also collects a variety of vintage jewelry and more than happily buys jewelry from other shops or stores. There are many he admires the craft of and is happy to have them. All his collections are displayed within his office in his home.
When Cailean is outside of work, as he does take time off and allowing one of his few trusted friends run his shop for him while he's gone, he spends a lot of his time reading or gardening. he quite enjoys taking care of plants. He also makes potions and tonics in his free time but he doesn't sell those, they're mostly for personal use or if a friend needs a pick me up. Most of them are for his hair/fur as he ensures to take good care of it., he likes feeling soft, looking pretty and smelling nice.
Bonus
Cailean has had his fair share of relationships, both good and bad, both serious or simple flings. Though most end because they can't keep up with his hectic secludes or the very rare occasion where they demanded his time and told him to disregard his work- despite him being very clear that his work is important to him and he won't simply just drop it if he has commissions or clients lined up. He understands that work can get out of hand and he loses himself in it but he isn't very fond of those who deem his work unimportant. That's his business they're talking about, one that he built from the ground up and takes great pride in.
When in a relationship Cailean does his best to ensure that he takes time away from work for his partner(s), and if he has to close the store for a day to spend time with them or go on a date he will. He will be affectionate, and show his love through gift giving and acts of service. May that be simple things like cooking or picking up their favorite snack, or looking after them and ensure they have a wonderful time behind closed doors. He can be a bit possessive, but not overly so: if asked he will back off and respect set boundaries as long as his partner spends time with him and doesn't neglect him outright.
Cailean is very much a switch, he does favor bottoming and being the one taken care of but asking him to top isn't out of the question. He will happily top when asked to, going from being a slightly bratty and bossy pillow princess of a bottom to a service top that will ensure everything is taken care of and that his bed partner in question is comfortable and enjoys every second of it. He can be a bit rough when topping and will tone it down if asked, on the other hand when he bottoms he prefers it rough and enjoys being marked. Continuing that a conversation needs to be had beforehand about boundaries and limits.
Aftercare from Cailean is as follows: a bath followed by comfy clothes, water and snacks of choice then curled up in pillows or blankets with a movie or show. A nice long nap follows if it's needed. He is a very hospitable host.
