Lights. Cameras. Action!

Where does one even begin regarding dear Lulu? She has been a backup model for Velveteen, Angora’s right-hand, and Peter’s personal design advisor. And currently she is the most sought-after actress in Burrowgatory.

She tells you about all her amazing experiences while she places your order of scrambled eggs and pancakes down. Lulu does a little flourish, nearly hitting the other waitress as she tells you that she is also a top chart singer, despite you having never heard a single song of hers.

You sip your coffee, nodding at her every word as she babbles on and on about the famous people she knows and how they invite her, no, beg her to attend their parties. Mid-sentence, her boss interrupts and tells her to grab table five’s order before it gets cold. The pride bun rolls her eyes and excuses herself as she skates off.

Perhaps you find her annoying or maybe her tales are entertaining. Either way, you never bother calling her out on her stories or ask why she is currently serving tables at a diner. Sometimes, it’s best to let someone live their best life, even if it is just in their head.

Lulu is not delusional, she just wishes her life was that of a celebrity. Despite all her efforts, she hasn’t been selected to become the main star of a show, nor did any of her music take off and the buns she mentioned certainly don’t know her. Lulu refuses to let the rejections in her life define her future, her perseverance is truly inspiring.

Her reality is much more mundane. Nothing exciting ever happens, she goes to work and then back to her apartment. The neighbors couldn’t care less about her tales, so she has resorted to telling her customers. The most exciting thing happening in her life is when she calls the cops on the neighbor several floors up who enjoys blasting rock throughout the night.

Wendy has suggested for her to speak to one of her regulars who is apparently the one behind FinTV, but Lulu won’t be fooled, he is way too short to be the e-celebrity. Plus, Lulu doesn’t need anyone’s advice, she’s got this. So won’t you humor this pride bun and give her stories a listen without complaint? She would appreciate it very much.
