Bloonsy has a bona fide PhD* in clownery, but prefers to run the merch booth, 'cos everybody knows that's where the money's at. A maestro of the balloon arts, they can twist one into anything, and stuff anything into one. You should see what else they can - never mind. When called upon to pinch-hit clowning in the big top, they are, of course, one of the unequivocal foremost shining stars. Whip-smart, charming, can do just about anything.

Bloonsy and Popsy are littermates who escaped their demon caretaker to run away to the circus, skedaddling towards the first clown car they saw in Burrowgatory. Bouncing humorously off the bumper, they were taken in by Fischer and Poplin to lodge in their little caravan until they graduated into full-fledged clowns, and earned enough for one of their own. Fischer and Poppy sometimes wonder about the uncanny similarities between their colours and traits, but know their own offspring would be younger yet, and, anyway, they aren't stinky. The four remain a close and cosy found family, and the second caravan is always hitched to the first hitched to Fischer's clown car when the circus is on the move.
