Deep, deep beneath the sea, legends speak of Yuan Ming (渊明), the sea god of the abyss and guardian of safe passage for lost souls. He possesses the power to control the abyssal currents and the bioluminescent glow of nearby plankton, giving him the ability to guide souls adrift in the ocean. However, Yuan Ming prefers to use these abilities to weave hypnotic, nightmarish illusions. His dark cave, situated at the entrance of the abyss, is where he reigns, relishing in the chaos and disorder he creates. Lost souls who wander into his realm are tormented until they unravel, plunging further into madness.
