Hawthorne's childhood was a never-ending series of close calls. He was a sickly kid, inheriting the same chronic ailment that took his mother when he was still an infant. With the research she left behind, his brother was able to develope medicine that allows Hawthorne to live a normal life.. but he intends to do much more than that. He'll experience all of the fun and exciting things the world has to offer, a dream that he never thought possible until now! He just has to be careful, sometimes.
Relationships
Aspen is the best brother anybun could ask for. He wishes he didn't worry as much, but always tries to accommodate to help ease his concerns when possible. With enough careful planning, even Spelunking can be a safe, enjoyable experience!
Chez has shown Hawthorne so many amazing new things that he could only ever read about in books before. He wants to experience more, and hopes that his friend will be right there alongside him. Just.. not when his brother's around.
Minjae is his mentor, someone who knows so much about plants and nature that Hawthorne couldn't hope to learn from books. Theyre cryptic at times but it only adds to the fun, decoding their words is but another challenge to overcome..!
Dave is always welcome to come hiking with him when he has the time! Finding nice spots outside of Burrowgatory to camp or nap is so much more fun when you have a friend.

Hawthorne is a lover of the outdoors, and will often travel outside of Burrowgatory to explore. No adventure is as good without a little company though, and this time he's invited your bun to come along with him!
You may complete one of the following two prompts to receive a good workout, along with a special trinket item for your Succubun in accordance with your choice.
Option 1: Treasure Hunt
Hawthorne is sure there are untold riches in the caves around the city, and he's determined to find some with your bun's help. Depict your Succubun and Hawthorne searching for treasure. Will they find some gems, discover interesting plants, or get completely lost along the way?

Option 2: The Great Outdoors
Sometimes it's nice to dive headlong into the wild and immerse yourself in nature. Depict your Succubun on an outdoor activity with Hawthorne. They could be hiking, camping, swimming, or more! If your bun isn't a fan of exercise, a picnic is a lovely chance to enjoy the scenery and a good meal!
