Metzli is a known trouble-maker, having his own fun sometimes at the cost of anothers' patience. If there's something he wants, he is not above using whatever tactic will get him to his goal. Flirting his way into getting you to share, or even giving off crocodile tears.
Offering Metzli something of interest to him (typically, interesting/rare food items) will make him more tame and pliable. Highly coveted items may even get him to be quiet for once.
You may catch Metzli scavenging the Burrowgatory. Whether its edible or shiny Metzli will not leave it behind if he can help it. As a young bun he discovered those pretty rocks aren't great for munching on and grew an affinity for adoring himself in pretty and shiny objects. His first ever project was his posture collar - suggested to him as a joke by Vultir, mostly as a poke to Metzli's bratty tendencies. It soon after became a treasured part of his wardrobe.

Velvet
Seeing these two together is like seeing a clique of two. Velvet is Metzli's neighbor, though arguably they both live at both addresses. When Velvet stays over, she steals the bed and without complaint Metzli takes his oversized bean bag for sleep. Trading between their wardrobes is common to the point that nobody knows who the shirt/accessory/etc. belonged to first.
Vultir
Calling them friends could be a stretch; but they are acquainted and on friendly terms. Metzli and Vultir have known each other from a young age and will hang out if they end up bumping into each other. As chill as Vultir is he does not give in to Metzli's schemes, not even once, and is quite possibly to only bun immune to his pestering.
Harte
Harte expresses a lot of patience and friendly energy towards Metzli, making Metzli quite fond of him. Metzli can be occassionally seen at Harte's shop, the High Tea, to indulge in whatever he can get his hands into. Despite being given many of the items directly by Harte without much fuss, he'll still be caught flirting with other patron's to get whatever they have... or taking whatever is unattended.
