MYO-1478: Morte
Morte
( MOR - teh )
He/Him
Not necessarily work related:
Morte. Your are a highly empathetic dabbler in arts and sciences. Your natural strengths lie in writing, but you try your hand at other things, especially for the sake of literary research. But this is not limited to academia. Oh no.
Because, true, you may have a taste for tragedy and horror, a morose air about you, and a softer way of speaking. But you are a brave and reasonably sociable fellow. You try various things, even outside of your usual comfort zone. You occassionally die of humiliation for your efforts. And, for all of your moody adventures, Morte, you're rather good at showing and telling others that you care.
- Despite how prone you are to crying on others' behalf, you don't consider yourself particularly gloomy or unfortunate. As far as you are concerned, you're a perfectly ordinary man with perfectly ordinary aspirations.
- Your dream is to "have a dream someday other than solving the great mystery of natural death." For you've heard tales of natural death from the demon who raised you. And the concept fascinates you.
- Your outlook is that it is normal for life to be generally depressing, but that is what makes the fleeting happiness of those moments of defiance all the more beautiful.
- You are a museum enthusiast and eccentric art collector, with bones among your personal gallery. You sometimes purchase specimen off of Zagan or loan them to museums and the buniversity.
- Morte, you are friends with Emrys. Generally he respects you.
- In the book club with Amber, Sajjita, etc.
- Also a friend of Tatiana, though you two have fundamental disagreements about what her writing counts as. You consider her writing to be fantasy. She considers it history.
- Morte, I'm going to say that while you write a lot, you are not famous for it. The few pieces you've submitted haven't exactly landed well with publishers. A common critique is that your writing is not sexy or sensual.
- Your horns grew in as pride because initially, you simply thought you were the smartest succubun. You were the studious type growing up. But shortly after arriving in the city, you learned there were, in fact, many many buns just as smart as or smarter than you. And it humbled you soundly. While you no longer look down on others, you are occassionally slightly competitive.
- Morte, Mouna, and Zagan were littermates.
