Lady Calla is the only one of the powerful and mysterious vampire lords whose identity is known to the public. After Lord Lagosi’s plot exposed the existence of vampires, Calla stepped in to clean up the mess and to act as an ambassador for her kind.

Calla’s age and the true extent of her powers are unknown, though she’s believed to have been born before the beginning of Burrowgatory’s recorded history. Her capricious behavior ranges from benevolent to sadistic on a whim, and her sense of morality seems skewed from that of mortals.

After Calla began to involve herself in mortal affairs, she developed an interest in the Church of Sulfur—and one of its nuns in particular, to the chagrin of her vampire-hunting brother.
