Rarely did Philos make their way to Burrowgatory proper. The comfort of the Heavenly Embassy was preferable and the Cherubuns there, familiar. They were not brave enough to endure the newness of the world outside their enclave even though they had left the meadow now for quite some time. They handled Succubuns visiting the Embassy, on their turf, than the other way around. It was another wonderful yet predictable day at the Heavenly Embassy but Philos couldn’t complain. The Heavenly Embassy was picturesque at noon when the luminous crystals shone brightest during the day. If you asked any Cherubun, it was a far cry from the Meadow that was surreal and pristine as any place worthy of angels could be.
