Ruth wanted to leave the Heavenly Meadows to escape from Melangel’s overbearing ways. The frightful leap led her to Burrowgatory. She was plunged into a culture that she had trouble understanding. Still, life in Burrowgatory was better than living under Melangel’s watchful gaze.

Burrowgatory’s cost of living is exorbitant which meant Ruth had to find a job, something that was foreign to her. She is so thankful that Beanny offered her a full-time job at Paradise Cafe. With the earnings, she managed to find small place to rent in the city. Despite her efforts though, she still could not grasp the ways of Burrowgatory which made her move back to the Heavenly Embassy.

She spends her time split between working at the cafe and volunteering to help Primrose with the needs of newly arrived Cherubuns. Ruth used to have a crush on Primrose. She has had a change of heart since coming to Burrowgatory, and Primrose's uptight personality is no longer appealing. Instead of living with her head in the clouds, she is more in tune with what's present.

Her welcoming aura tends to attract others, making her easy to befriend. Occasionally, buns will try to take advantage of her good-heart. Her loyal friend, Tabby, won't let Ruth get into trouble and is always on the lookout for her wellbeing.

Ruth is polite and innocent. She can be quite naive on some common Succubun topics. She never strays too far from her righteous upbringing because she still fears Melangel subconsciously.
