After his caretaker demon lost Axel in a bet against a dragon, the bun was taken and raised as part of the beast's grand hoarde. He learned much from their scaly father, including the importance of having a precious collection, and how to breathe fire! Though Axel's doesn't pack quite as much punch as a dragon's... When they came of age they were sent to Burrowgatory to hone their skills and find precious objects to add to their own hoarde, which Axel has done with fervor. Having already learned how to shape metal and jewels, he started a shop and expanded his craft to earn some carats.
Relationships
Bellamy has a sword that Axel wants more than anything else in Burrowgatory.. sadly, it's also one of the man's most prized possessions. He's never won a card game against him.
Drake is his recently discovered sibling, but he's already grown to love the guy! When he finds a tasty restaurant to try Drake is the first person Axel will invite there to try it out with him.
Seoyun brings him interesting jobs sometimes, the gemstones he's given to work with are always top notch! Axel doesn't bother to ask where he gets it, it's not his business so long as he gets paid enough!
Valentine asks Axel to polish and perfect gems and jewelry. He'll always offer to make improvements, but the particular bun never seems interested.. sad.
