BUN-500: Eden

When the first group of envy buns found their way to Burrowgatory, it paved the way for others to follow suit. The news of their safe arrival had made its way back to the other envy buns slowly; after all, why would any of them want to go back to the life they had just left? But Jackal was nothing if not protective of her kith, and she managed to inspire many buns to find a way to inform others suffering from neglect that there was a light at the end of the tunnel. When Eden and his littermates learned of their safe escape, they plotted to do the same, and found their way to the Church of Sulfur after many days of planning and traveling.

The Church had shown Eden such kindness that he felt compelled to stay and join their ranks, even when his littermates decided to leave and start lives within Burrowgatory proper. While his opinion of demons and the sins that succubuns represented were mixed at best, he decided that he would try his hardest to do right by the Church, considering it his way of showing how grateful he was to have been taken into the fold without question.

Due to his upbringing, Eden doesn’t readily show how he feels, and tends to put on what can only adequately be described as “resting bitch face” to scare off any potentially malevolent actors. Press hard enough, though, and he’ll crumble…Eden is not as tough and no-nonsense as he’d like others to believe he is, and yearns for the love and attention he never got from his demonic caretaker Buer. He is loath to show anyone his vulnerabilities, but dreams of the day where he’ll no longer need to put up a facade around others.
