While in the midst of her research, the rest of Burrowgatory was rocked by the death of a beloved figure of the church. She's been so lost in her months of research at this point that she was completely unaware of most of it until the end...when it became apparent that vampires were, in fact, very real and very much still present in the burrows.

This posed an interesting opportunity for her to actually find and interact with a real vampire, and luckily this situation brought one to the forefront...a seemingly skiddish one she'll admit but surely he'd be willing to help her with her research, as a fellow man of science. And he just so happens to run a blood bank.
