When the majority of the population spends their life shifting freely between two incredibly different physical forms, the matter of clothing can get a little complicated.
Fashion
Fashion for dolls bears many similarities to human fashion, passed down to Burrowgatory through a game of telephone with demons. The biggest difference is that, due to succubuns' cultural lack of shame and inhibitions surrounding sex and the body, as well as the warmer climate of Burrowgatory, succubun fashion tends to be much skimpier than human fashion.
It's socially acceptable for succubuns of any gender presentation to be topless in public, as nipples and breasts bear no stigma. It's common to see succubuns wear outfits that humans would consider to be lingerie as an every day look. The only cultural rule is that genitals must still be covered in public, as flashing others outside of appropriate contexts is considered rude.
Due to this propensity for revealing clothing, as well as the fact that a small percentage of succubuns choose to maintain their hooves in doll form, pants are not as popular as skirts, shorts, and bodysuits. Designers will often design pants with various cutouts, such as chaps or pants that split along the side, as standard-coverage pants are considered unfashionable.
Bun Clothing
Succubuns rarely wear clothing in their bun forms, as their fur provides all the coverage they need. At most, they might wear accessories such as ribbons, hats, scarves, and jewelry. Outerwear such as jackets and cloaks are sometimes made to fit buns, but it's almost unheard of for clothing such as pants, shirts, and shoes to be made for buns, as their body shape isn't suited to them.
Shapeshifting
Clothes do not change size when succubuns shapeshift. As such, it's common practice to only shift between forms at home, where a succubun can undress before shifting and redress after—shifting in public is typically only done in emergencies, and shifting from a bun form to a nude doll form without any clothes to change into is considered a faux pas.
Body Modification
Piercings and tattoos are as common in Burrowgatory as they are in the real world. As with injuries and disabilities, all piercings obtained in one form will translate to the other, though some succubuns may choose to take their piercings out when in bun form. Tattoos obtained in doll form will translate not only to the skin of the bun form, but to the fur growing from that skin as well, creating new markings.
Hair dye is not particularly popular, as succubuns can naturally have an unlimited variety of hair colors, and are capable of permanently changing their natural hair color through mutations. However, if a succubun does choose to dye their hair a temporary color, the color will appear on both forms.

Makeup
Makeup culture is not as pervasive in Burrowgatory as it is in the real world, largely due to the fact that shifting back to bun form with a face full of makeup can make a real mess. Eye and lip makeup are still commonly used for self expression, but foundation and contouring for flawless-looking skin isn't common or expected.
Due to the fact that succubuns' nails in doll form are naturally the same color as their hooves in bun form, nail polish is popular for people of all gender presentations. Fashionable succubuns will often paint over their natural nail color to match their outfits, while professionals may tone down brightly colored nails with neutral polish.
Ear Styling
Since succubuns don't have hair to style in bun form, some have taken to styling their ears in various ways to express themselves. They must take care when doing so, as their ears are sensitive organs, and restricting them too tightly may cause them pain or make it difficult for them to hear. Succubuns who want to curl their ears in ringlets must sleep in curlers each night, as they will naturally uncurl themselves over time.
