Design Guide - Doll Hooves

Some succubuns are capable of maintaining the cloven hooves on their feet when they shift into their doll forms. This is not seen often in day-to-day life, as hoofed legs are harder to balance with, and are unsuited to walking or standing for more than a short period of time. However, some succubuns find their hoofed forms to be superior for running and climbing, or prefer the look of them for fashion and aesthetic reasons.

Anatomy

Succubun hooves are cloven, similar to that of a goat or deer. They can be stylized in a variety different ways.

These hooves must be split down the middle, and they do not have dew claws. The hoof makes up the entire bottom of the foot; no part of the flesh makes contact with the ground.

Hoofed doll legs maintain standard human anatomy down to the ankle, and cannot appear animalistic.

Anatomically, the section of the leg after the ankle corresponds with a human foot. However, it is structured very differently from a human foot, making the legs digitigrade, rather than plantigrade like a human. The lower leg is significantly elongated compared to a foot, meaning that dolls with hooves have overall longer legs and stand taller they would with feet.

Leg Fur

Dolls with hooves have a layer of short fur on their legs, the same color as the fur on their legs in bun form. This fur must go past the ankle, but cannot extend farther than just above the knees.

This fur must fade out in a smooth gradient as it transitions to skin, and cannot have a hard edge or resemble stockings, even if the bun form has markings that imply an edge. If you want your doll to have a stocking-clad look, consider giving them fabric stockings as part of their clothing.

If a hoofed doll is wearing fabric stockings, they must end above where the hooves start, to make it clear that they're a removable article of clothing.

Succubuns with the Angora Fur trait may have longer fur on hoofed legs, but only if their bun form possesses long fur on their legs.

Claws

If a bun has the Claws trait applied to their feet, the claws cannot be combined with their hoofed form. They can have clawed human feet or regular hooves, but cannot have clawed “monster hooves."
