[Gift] All Dressed Up

Alabaster had never had luxury items. He’d never been able to afford new clothes, bags, or accessories. He’d barely been able to get by, pay his rent, and pay for food, but that had all changed when he met Caleb. 

Had he known the other ran an incredibly dastardly cult that was all about draining the rich schmucks of the world? Yes, he wasn’t an idiot. And he didn’t care. 

Caleb had told him he was pretty. 

He told him he was beautiful and one of a kind. He’d flourished him with gifts and adorned him with luxury items. He’d truly dazzled him, and at this stage, Alabaster would do absolutely anything to please the religious fraud. 

“Al, are you dressed yet, we don’t have all day,” Caleb said as he snaked inside the dressing room, Alabaster still getting changed.

“Oh sorry Cal, I just can’t get the zipper, would you mind?” he asked him with a half-lidded and smiling expression. Caleb shook his head but did it, zipping up the tight, midnight blue dress. It fit Alabaster’s form perfectly. It had been tailor-made, after all. 

After the dress was fitted he put the dark navy, furred shawl around his shoulders as well as a pair of black, leather high heels. His tail was decorated in silver jewelry and his ears were pierced with diamonds and tied back to show off his delicate-looking face. Completely unmarred.  

“How do I look?” Alabaster asked him as he turned around and posed, one hand on his hip and the other in the air, his wings flapping slightly as he smiled at the other. Caleb smiled back, those dark and sinister eyes staring at him behind ominous glasses.

“You look stunning,” he said and moved to pick up a red velvet box. He opened it, inside a necklace made up of bright, silver and grey diamonds, each threaded onto a silver thread. He moved close to Alabaster and slowly tied the necklace around his neck. 

“Now, don’t you look perfect, come, we have a show to put on remember, you’re devastated that your co-star has been gravely injured, tears Alabaster, tears,” Caleb told him and Alabaster smiled brightly before turning on the waterworks.

“Perfect, lets get this press conference over with, yes?” Caleb asked and his puppet nodded.

“Then we can have some fun?” Alabaster asked in response.

“Of course, just be a good boy for me, and we can have all the fun you like my dear,” Caleb replied and pushed Alabaster forward through the doors and out into the hallway. 

Caleb brought Alabaster through to the press conference room where succubuns were ready with cameras and microphones. Questions being thrown around. 

“How do you feel after the accident?”

“Did you get hurt too?”

“Was it really an accident?”

“What are you wearing tonight?”

“Who designs your wardrobe?”

Amazing how the press could be so distracted by a new outfit. Stunned to see the model and actor in such a beautiful and delicate outfit, his crocodile tears only adding to his injured animal persona. 

And it worked, of course, it did. 

Caleb’s plans always worked.

Alabaster, after he’d answered question after question, was busy removing his diamond earrings and jewelry when the door opened.

“You were fantastic,” Caleb said to him as a tendril wrapped around Alabaster’s waist and pulled him close.

“Of course, anything for you,” he purred and ran a hand down Caleb’s chest.

“That outfit looks good on you, you should wear it more often,” Caleb instructed.

“Sure, maybe to dinner?” Alabaster asked and Caleb smiled a sharp-toothed smile.

“Where did you have in mind?”

“Oh, I don’t mind, just somewhere luxurious, an outfit like this deserves good food, don’t you agree?” Alabaster asked.

“Absolutely dear,” Caleb growled. “Luxurious it is.”
