While a crowded Toy Fair may not have been Klaus’s ideal destination for his rare morning off, Breakfast knew his secret. It was even more secret than his love for cute pastel things, which was obvious to anyone that witnessed the pair together, more secret than the silly names he gave his pet stroodle. That secret was… his love of tabletop games, specifically Bungeons & Dragons.

On multiple occasions, she’d tried to convince him to start up a campaign, insisting that she could rope in a few of their mutual friends, but he’d never been quite ready to put himself out there like that with his interests. It was alright, of course. She’d be as encouraging as she needed to.

(And she would use it to her advantage, naturally.)

“Did you know the Toy Fair’s gonna have a sneak peak of the new B & D edition?” Breakfast scrolled through her phone over her meal that morning, acting non-chalant even when Klaus choked on his cereal across from her.

He cleared his throat. “They will?”

“Mhm, they’re gonna have everything there.” Breakfast kept scrolling, but she watched Klaus from her periphery. “Ev-er-y-thing.”

There was a healthy silence for a minute or two before Klaus chimed in again. “Do you want to go, B?”

“More than anything.”

Naturally, her interests veered a bit from his, so when they finally arrived that afternoon, she was quick to check out some of the more… risque booths at the fair, while Klaus discreetly slipped away to stare at the tabletop games like a kid who hadn’t yet saved enough of his allowance, and not a grown bun with a job that could feed his interests and then some.

When she found Klaus again, he was ogling some miniatures, while her own hands were full with multiple bags worth of purchases.

“Oh,” he said, more pleasant than usual as he looked her over. “What did you end up getting?”

“I thought you wouldn’t ask,” Breakfast hummed, which was probably the point where Klaus realized he may have made a mistake in asking. She set down her bags on the table where she could find some space, immediately delving into a girthy– er, lengthy– detailed explanation of her haul.

“Right, so the thing I absolutely had to pick up was this guy right here.” She pulled out a box that would have easily dwarfed her had she been in her bun form, holding it up– and if it wasn’t obvious yet, the hot pink illustration of a dildo on the side of the box was a dead giveaway. Just in case, however, she opened the front flap to show off the product itself, separated from the world with a clear sheet of plastic, much like a fashion doll or something equally innocuous.

Klaus’s eyes widened.

“My,” he said, adjusting his collar. “It’s… large.”

“Right?” she replied, holding it up next to her belly as if she was trying to invite the comparison. “It’s like… a smart dildo. It connects up to your phone, and you can control it from there, it tells you how much battery it has left, how long it took you to come–”

“B–”

“And there’s all these levels of vibration–”

“B–”

“Then it has this pivot point, see, and the lady at the booth threw in a set of anal beads for free–”

“Breakfast.” Klaus’s voice had gone serious, and his face, normally so stoic, was turning brighter and brighter red.

Breakfast finally caught her breath. “Yeah?”

“Do you want to go home?”

She blinked. Weren’t there other booths to check out? And didn’t he want to stick around for the B & D panel?

“Oh.” It took her a minute, but she realized what he meant, now. Breakfast began to bag up her goodies again. “Yeah. More than anything.”
