Preparing For A New Addition

Waizatsu held Squishy, his Jellsi, close as he walked into the Imporium, wanting to make sure that he had everything he needed, and that he knew how to give proper care to a Jellsi. He worried slightly that Squishy may not get along with Iyashi, his Uniqor, or Nuggie, his Impup, but had decided that instead of panicking, he'd raise his questions to Hutch. He stood in the lobby, waiting for Hutch to notice him.

Eventually, Hutch came over, and Waizatsu waved at them slightly nervously. "U-uh, hi Hutch... I... I was wondering if I could get some information on Squishy, here? I found her injured when I was walking home, and I just... I want to make sure I can care for her properly... And that my other imps won't cause any issues..." He looked away from them, never very good at social situations.

Hutch's eyes lit up. "Oh! A Jellsi! I haven't seen one in quite a while! Well, your other imps are a Uniqor and an Impup, correct? Impups tend to be quite energetic and playful, so it should be no trouble to ensure that that little one will get along with te Jellsi, but Uniqor can be slightly more stubborn, so it may take a while to warm up to her-" Hutch blinked, a realization seeming to dawn on their face. "...Squishy? Is that the name you chose for her?"

Waizatsu gave a small nod before pausing with a frown. "...Kind of. I asked if I could pick her up, because I saw she was injured, and I was going to bring her to you, but then I realized how late it was, and I was worried that I would be a bother, so I took her home... It felt odd calling her Jellsi when Nuggie and Iyashi are named, so I asked if she wanted a name, and she looked so excited... So I started going through ideas, including Moonlight, Limelight, Frills... I even suggested Aqua! She didn't seem to like any of them though, and kept bumping me in a way I've learned is her way of saying no... And then I laughed and said she's Squishy, and she seemed to respond enthusiastically to it..."

Hutch gave a small smile. "Well, I'm glad you care about them enough to make sure that they're comfortable with their names, but it is never too late to bring me an imp to care for... Lets see, a Jellsi will need a good water source, an orb to hold them in, and perhaps something to stick at the bottom of the orb, in case it wants to rest. I have some seasame treats too, if you need to restock, I know your Impup must try to eat a lot of them."

"I'd love some more for them, if you don't mind, and how many carats would I owe you for what I need for Squishy? Since I'm assuming that she can stay with me...?" Waizatsu said, though the end was more a question than anything else.

Hutch looked at him through their glasses. "Oh, of course she can stay with you, like I said, the only slight issue is that your Uniqor might take a bit more time to adjust. As long as you don't leave them unattended for too long, they should all be fine..." They then moved over, and grabbed everything, seeming to take note of all the prices. "How many seasame treats would you want to buy? Just a few, or are you looking for the big bag of them?"

Waizatsu seemed to think for a moment, humming softly. "I think I'll get the big bag of them this time... Now that I have three of these little babies to spoil rotten... I honestly don't think I could live without them... If you ever decide to look for an assistant to help you here at the Imporium, I'd love to help..."

Hutch seemed genuinely touched by the thought. "Alright, I'll keep you in mind then, Waizatsu... With the big bag of treats, along with what you need for the Jellsi.... Seventy five carats will be the total!"

Waizatsu smiled happily and gave a small nod, handing over the carats. "Thank you, Hutch! I'll be back when I need more treats!"
