Tough Bribery
The best that Raul and Pewii could think of in bribing Mercy to bless their Spring Waters is with a big load of carats. They went on to load a briefcase with tons of them.
It should be a shared payment (the carats mostly belonging to Raul), unfortunately Mercy made it that they must pay as individuals. Mercy must've had their greed being tickled in that moment, and thought of trying get more carats out of the two, but regardless, Raul and Pewii must act fast.
In a desperate attempt, Pewii pulls out his purse containing all of his savings as payment for his own.
